Wool is king!!! Good stuff brother 🤘🍻
I survive blizzards in the mountains by staying out of the mountains in winter. :P
Pussy
I would love to get stuck in the mountains during one of those storms....along the south coast of Lake Erie in North East Ohio we can literally get half a foot an hour of lake effect snow...would be interested to see how your blizzards compare to ours
Bunny boots... just wear nylon or wicking socks (never cotton). You won't need wool socks til it's down below -20F.... if then.
+10 deg F ? Did I hear your right? That's not real cold..... -10 is cold. You're right the money about moisture management, btw.
10 will kill you just as fast as -10. There’s no point in being so specific at that point. Anything below 32 is, well, freezing.
@@davem4193 you may operate in those temps, but that doesn’t make what you are saying make anymore sense. 10 above zero is the same as 10 below zero because water can freeze at both temps. It is crazy to think that you’re better off because it’s 10 and not -10. They are both negative when you convert to celsius. 10 becomes -10. Very cold. -10 becomes -23. Very cold.
The scientific world, well, the whole world, uses Celsius.
I def wouldn’t walk outside and be like “wow, I’m so glad it’s 10 degrees out here. It’s so much better than -10.”
I’ve lived in those temps as well and for me, when it gets below 32 F it’s just, cold. It doesn’t matter what the temp is. It’s cold. Water freezes. It will kill you.
@The_Red_Off_Road if you're wet, 50 deg F will kill you. There's a huge difference in the clothing requirements, nutritional needs, equipement performance, etc. that a 20 degree difference makes. I'll take 10 above all day. Below that, i start thinking about modifying what I'm doing.
And Pabst! Great! Three generations fav beer!
Brother, we strategically relocated from 150"-300" of snow/yr Michigan to Southern Missouri Ozarks. Screw that white stuff.
Great video.. man I like the time laps at the end very nice looks great..
Kind of reminds me of Klaus Jäger in the thumbnail, but whatever.
Great video can’t wait to see more like this !!
glad to always hear that the whole point is to be ready to help others, and thrive while doing so in shit conditions! rock on man!
What conditioner do you put on your arctic mittens? They look in great shape!
Floridian here, how do you survive the hot humid summers? It’s either warm or hot here
Great info man! Thank you!
You deserve it Bro! I admire you.
I believe the youth call them “blizzies”, now.
