      Always remember that Blockbuster had the opportunity to buy Netflix early on and they passed on the deal. This would have been their DVDs by mail business and not their streaming platform yet and, knowing Blockbuster, they wouldn't have pushed into that space anyway, but DVDs by mail was still a step up from brick and mortar and they couldn't see even that.
      Blockbuster died by their own hand. They pulled a Sears.

    The female announcer caught it all and called it out.
    She said mid fight like after 4 rounds. "Why isn't Jake Paul being more aggressive"
    And that's when I knew 200% this fight was rigged. It was the slowest boxing match I've ever seen.
    How do you train for X amount of months to fight for 30 minutes or so and then look gassed 5 minutes in.

    • @dontask3613
      @dontask3613 День тому +1

      I wouldn't say rigged, I think hes just old as fuck and has numerous health problems. I fucking despise Paul but I have a lot of respect for the fact that he held back in the second half of that shit show because at any point he coulda knocked mike out and he chose not too.

    • @yami2998
      @yami2998 День тому +51

      The rigging was already obvious by watching the "fight", Mike just did never take a shot, he went in many times and stopped mid-way every time, he gave up literally every single opportunity he had to take a shot at Jake, he even did a couple of things that would have had Jake lying flat on the ground, if he had actually followed through that is, but he just stopped himself every time.
      It was a painful watch, i did expect the fight to be rigged since Jake isn't even close to being good enough to take on Mike, even if past his prime, but i didn't expect Mike to just not fight at all, he did prove that he could actually destroy someone 20 years younger but still, it's sad to see someone like Mike lose on purpose, and to someone like Jake at that

    • @Dondizle
      @Dondizle День тому +16

      Jake looked more exhausted than Tyson after one round.
      I hate when we get laughed at for wanting a bit of entertainment that they promised to bring. They're laughing at us for paying to watch a half arsed fight, and we know they are.
      Now I have Netflix and ads. Why ads when we're paying for the service? What BS is this? Either ads or I'm not paying just so Netflix can make more money doing nothing.
      Greed is becoming a lot worse, and I'd rather just stop giving money to people and companies that don't deserve it. They should give what was paid for and not a penny more. I'm fed up with the overpriced crap entertainment with ads. I'll keep my money.
      Screw the rich!

    • @zezanje1
      @zezanje1 День тому +9

      you can literally see mike countering jake and then not punching for no reason whatsoever. there are multiple instances of him hitting jake once, and you can see him flinch, instinctively trying to go for a second hit, but he stops himself and backs away because he knows that he is getting payed a fraction of the money if he knocks this bum out or god forbid the fight ends early lol.
      if being a professional boxer was so easy, everyone could do it, but the fact of the matter is that its all a circus nowadays. all of these fights are being set up so they make the most amount of money, they make a narrative before fights, and then continue the storyline in upcoming fights. they just couldn't have jake lose this fight since then he would be a laughingstock and they couldn't continue making fights as big as this one in the future. what the paul brothers are doing is basically making a more believable wwe.
      you have many instances of semi pro or pro boxers or other martial artists being in situations where they have to fight in unfavorable situations, only to come out unscathed. you also don't just lose your touch ever, even if it was 20 years since you last fought (and prepared for months), and especially if you are the greatest of all time.
      to put into perspective how ahead the best of the best are, in football you had defenders retiring from a top 5 league mid table team, going back to brazil, their home country, and scoring 5 goals in his first game in the 2nd division league. what you need to understand is that it took this defender probably a season or two in europe to score 5 goals while being a defender (maybe even more), and it took him a single game to score 5 goals in just a lesser league. this guy wasn't a huge all time great either, he was just a decent midtable team defender.
      also if you don't understand how insane scoring 5 goals (im confident that it might have been 8 or 9 as well, but i don't remember that well) in a game is, messi did it twice, once against a 100th+ ranked nation, and once on the club level. ronaldo also did it twice, and there are a few other players that did it like lewandowski etc. the point is that there are a handful players who are in the top 10 players of all time that managed to achieve that kind of feat, and this guy who was a defender, someone who never scores goals or learns how to shoot properly, did it in his first ever game while fucking around at the age of 40.
      so the gap between a mid tier 1 footballer playing off of his position, retired at the age of 40, and a tier 2-3 footballers playing at their peaks is so astronomical that he can fuck around and solo win his team the game (22 players on the pitch btw), and it wouldn't even be close. so these fights are so insanely rigged thats its not even funny.
      if you ever actually achieved some decent level at any videogame or a sport, you would know what i mean.
      for example i managed to hit global elite in counterstrike (top 1-2%, so in terms of sports, not even a sunday league footballer). i would often play on my 2nd account with my friends in high gold mmr (top 50%). getting 0.88 kills per round played in cs means that you are most likely gonna have the most kills in the game (there are a maximum of 30 rounds per game in counterstrike). having 1 kill per game means that you had a 1 in 10 game pop off performance, getting anything close to 1.3 kills per round played means that in 99% of cases, you won your team the game by yourself. so meaning that having 20-25 kills is a great performance, and having ~30 kills is exceptional. when i would play with my friends, i would more often than not drop 50 kills per game, and every 5th or so game i would drop ~65 kills. in many cases that averages out to an average of 3 kills per round, which is almost 4 times more than a great performance, and that is just by playing against an average cs player. (not unexperienced players, almost all of these players have been playing for a few years and have 1000+ hours on the game).
      to further put into perspective how much better i was than the average players i was playing against, i will use cs's player numbers. lets be generous and say that the 30M people that play cs monthly is everyone that has ever played the game and has reached the skill level that i was at. 1-2% still equates to 500.000 people. there are AT LEAST 500.000 people who are able to do exactly what i was able to do, when trying their hardest, which is to make the opponent look like a toddler, and you are telling me that MIKE FUCKING TYSON who has spent thousands and thousands of hours honing his craft to become the greatest boxer of alll time somehow completely forgot how to fight, even if his last fight was 20 years ago? like you can't actually be serious with this shit.
      if any of these fights were real, any average boxer would whoop this guy's ass, but the thing is that all of this is just a circus, created to make money, and nothing else.

      It's never going to happen, but the only way to stop it is to stop paying for it. Jake will always have his money audience regardless of support towards him or his opponent. Without the audience, he won't make money. It's impossible for that to happen, unfortunately.

Most men will be in their prime 20 - 30 beyond that the body starts to give up and even if you do strength conditioning you will be better off than the average but still aren't going to be doing much compared to 20 - 30 year olds. Nah, Jake Paul fights is not boxing like wwe wrestling is not actual wrestling. Entertainment and bad one at that. As soon as Jake lost to an actual opponent who is from an weak end... he went to fight almost a 60 year old guy 😑 Always fighta older dudes who does not even box. It is not boxing.
      I also noticed that in the first round at one moment Mike stops a punch midway and goes to the hugging motion. Actually could've been a KO from how it's set up. After that round there was nothing really from Mike for the legs, but I noticed for example Jake to punch clearly on purpose beside the head and not aim directly. All kinda things like that. Lastly I really dislikes that a young dude with reach advantage runs in out knowing that the guys legs do not work. Atleast then put up a show and stay in the fighting distance if you are gonna fight an elder.. 🤦‍♂️ Just shamefull. Atleast Mike got a huge bag from it.

    My one concern was that I would see a real boxing match and that Jake would throw real hands, which would have more likely than not led to a subdural hematoma and later dementia or death for Mike Tyson. Thankfully, it was just a show, and not a sad manslaughter. Legally, I believe Jake would still be liable for that injury even with all risks known, because he's the one who ultimately has control over his fists and knowing my peers, we shouted at the moon to inform these two gentleman anyway we could on the medical reality of what they are doing. Smart kid for not throwing real blows and going just off points. Otherwise, no forgiveness. Still pathetic but this was the best exit.

    Netflix was doing everything they could to help and deserve credit. It kept giving us that rotating red circle instead of forcing us to watch the fight. It was trying to save us all from viewing the worst fight in boxing history. But yeah, it makes sense Tyson is talking about not caring about legacy. He and his team have been training a long time for this. They've spared and they've gotten a good idea of where Mike is at. They knew his stamina was nonexistent, but they kept shooting 10-second training clips to gaslight us. I honestly think that is why Tyson was talking about not caring about legacy and why he looked so sad before the match even started. You could see the shame in his eyes, he knew this was a clown show but he needed the money.

      Whole card was rigged. Start to finish.

      First fight 18-4 8 knockout against a 2-2 amatuer
      Second fight- good but went to cards tied for a future rematch
      Third fight - 2 illegal headbutts 4 headbutts over all and more clinches than some ufc fights
      And Tyson V. Paul was the saddest thing I've seen since UP.

      I thought Serrano won too but idk it seemed pretty back and forth to me. Katie looked good but I think Serrano landed the better shots. I thought that point deduction was going to definitely be a Serrano W.

      @@obi1988there’s not really a big benefit of rigging every fight lol maybe the main event but why were the others rigged?

    In my opinion it was set up as a no one gets knocked out fight neither actually committed to any sort of real fight.

    Great to see Mogul Mail back as I don't really care for that Ludwig individual these days.
