- Legit lost about four times trying to get an okay-ish no healing item run, you cannot block his knife attacks (although I think you can get an ability later on that lets you) which makes for some guaranteed hits on you.

I think when he tries to troll you, chilling with you in the bowling and pocket circuit track, and the final one is canon. The ones you get by random encounter or randomly when fighting isn't.

I'm sure they could probably damn near use elements of each others style by this point.
If you look at his Kiryu's moveset, one of his signature moves is his fakeout punch, kick combo. It's crazy how they studied each other's moves so closely.
Looks to me like both would have been aimed high enough for Majima to slide under so Majima did it anyways.
There’s something about Majima sliding under Kiryu’s kick, his name showing up, and Receive You kicking in that fills me with such indescribable joy

Really sells the point that Majima is kiryu’s equal, not his bro like Nishiki, his equal. As in Kiryu is one of the most infamous, arguably dangerous man in Kamurocho, and Majima is the only man who can hold his own against him in a fight, and get back up on his feet laughing as if he didnt just get his brain rattled in his skull by that mans Iron Fists

And to think after his bossfight in Yakuza 3, Majima actually takes Kiryu's hand.

He does during karaoke but it's honestly so hilarious to have a serious moment between kiryu and majima and I keep getting distracted by the fact majima still has the construction helmet on.

In the case of Kiwami 2, he takes it off in karaoke and doesn’t have it at all in the Majima Saga. In the case of the original game though? Yeah, that thing is basically welded onto his head lol.
Kiryu’s smirk at Majima’s entrance and walking away at the end is priceless.

this is arguably the fight that confirms Kiryu and Majima are perfect rivals; they know each other's moves, each other's way of doing things, and each other's ups and downs.
It's fair to say that every time they fight from here on out, they know who's in the right and wrong and who needs to listen.
You can't hate that entrance lol. Majima the legend!!!

I love majima`s entrance in the 3 round tournament, and especially when he dances with the fireworks go off with him holding his signature knifu and safety helmet. it gives me joker vibes about him. well at this point they are basically yakuza versions of batman and joker

after playing the underground fights in yakuza 0 as majima. this feels like when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. but for the plot majima has to lose sadly. personally, i think majima's mad dog style is superior to kiryu's dragon of dojima but he holds back because he sees his former self in kiryu and hates to see him go down the same path that made him to be as psychopathic as he became
yeah no Kiryu's just straight up stronger in Kiwami 2. The only case where you could say Majima was stronger was Yakuza 0

I've always loved this Kiryu vs Majima battle the most out of all their fights.
This is the ONE fight in the entire series that captures Kiryu's one and only true rival and equal; Goro Majima. (Aside from Saejima), there is not a single character in the series who can go toe to toe with Kiryu like this and laugh it off after being beaten or come out of it basically unscathed.

I absolutely love how they brought back Receive You The Prototype for this fight, just like in the original 2. They knew how good that track was and had to bring it back.

You know,maybe it's just me but I REALLY dislike how in Yakuza 6 and Kiwami 2 developers removed different boss auras,they gave so much personality to bosses before,now everybody just boringly red and that's it.
Who cares its a minor issue. Omg aura colors. Fuck off
Imma have to agree with xellosdarkslayer here. I don't find it too much as a problem. Just a slight nitpick. I loved the unique auras. Especially Ryuji's. His lightning dragon aura was part of many things that made him one of the best Yaluza antagonists ever. The red aura was ok but it will never come close to his lightning aura.

I miss how the auras looked in general back in yakuza 3-5. Now they just look really boring.

The fight intro seemed to be a reference to the karate kid with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, in the semi finals the exact moves were done. When I saw it it reminded me of this intro.

@@patrik9328 and demon tatoo. Also, i think he fights more like a Mad Dog than a Demon(Dogs being more instinct based while Demons rely on dirty tricks, both characteristics of Majima. I just see him more inclined to his primal instincts, but mixes in dirty tactics in between moves).
