- Come with us on our first 24 hours picking up, transporting, and housing a poodle, who was originally trained as a seizure alert service dog. Due to circumstances she was being rehomed. When they found the program and offered to donate her. She will go to the program to go back into training. When she has passed the phases of training, she will be placed with a new handler. We are honored to play a part in this.
I think it is amazing that you are volunteering your time to help this sweet little lady! Youve done such great work with Miya, and you have some really great insights into doggie behavior and training that help me a lot as a owner-trainer myself 😊

Ego and level of self importance through the roof
How? I spend my money.. to volunteer and use my gas and my vehicle.. to help other people get service dogs via a service dog program. And driving over state lines. Because none of this is local pickup.

Yes, she was. That’s one of the first things that will be addressed when she gets to the program. They will have her spayed.

@@service_poodlesif you watch the end of video she’s come a long way. I don’t expect to fully see her personality before she leaves though. I’m just trying to offer her a comfortable place she feels safe. And I think it shows with how much more playful she got. The fact she’s been taking food since last night. And treats. She definitely settled in quicker than we were expecting. But it’ll be weeks if not months before she’s fully situated in a new home.

@@service_poodles that’s exactly what the program founder told me. That they don’t tend to bounce back as quickly.
I’ve just done my best to offer her love when she wants it. To constantly read her to see what I can do to make her more comfortable. It’s mainly been trust building I guess. lol

To clarify, the poodle is not my new dog. I’m temporarily housing her until we get her to the program.

theres another creator on UA-cam like Meeka the husky thats faking a service dog. her name is Katie Reuter and her dog she says its Registered and certified and she has papers. the dog is pulling on the leash not heeling and is up in the furniture at stores (gross). she thinks im harassing her but im educating her I need your help
