I definitely agree with the way you are preparing for your matches recently than in the past. You are an athlete and yes train like one. Actually like a boxer getting ready for a fight knowing when to slow down at the correct times.

Michael, this comment is worth reading and thinking about. If I were in your shoes I would watch every single critique video about your match with Frank and take notes on what people are saying. This will give you the perfect checklist of things in your game that need improvement. You're going to have to sit through some negativity but in the end you can turn it into something positive. Oftentimes in life it is people that are not connected to us that can best point out our weaknesses, they can see things that we ourselves cannot. You don't want to shy away from this criticism, you want to soak in it and use it as guidance and motivation. Get out a notebook grab a pen and figure out what you need to do. I want to see you succeed but you do need to make some changes if you want to continue to rise.
