As a racer who comes down to big dog 2/3 times a yr for the oval, you should compare the bandit to say a street stock built bandit, where the body downforce isn’t as much as a sprint car. I’d be curious about that outcome
Probably if you put 20gr at the front off the bandit comes even closer. I'm guessing there is a small weight diffence between the cars. Interesting comparison, i question such thing myself too...
I surprised you haven’t ventured into RC drifting. Because there is no “best chassis”, tuning, chassis layouts, weight distribution and electronic options are endless. It’s really a run what you brung and try to hang with the boys lol
Perhaps some like the looks. just curious...why the bandit chassis? why not associated or losi...or....anything else. was it like the slash(stock class).
If you contact @bigdogrc in stoneboro Pa they can help. I got this one used. I’m not sure on the details, but I know they sell all the parts as well as complete bandit sprints.
well i can see you are a newb to turning left lol. even tho i do both offroad and oval i have more time turning left then jumping. we did this test a couple months ago here with a associated sr10 dirt oval car with stock body and a late model body on the same car and with the late model body we got 8-10 more laps every time in a full day of testing
Ha ha cool stuff. It would be interesting to see that Sprintcar with a locked diff and a larger outer wheel on the rear, and possibly more tow out up front. The real ones have a set up something like that. That front wing really helped with the handling/
Fastest bandit Sprint's are running mid 4 second laps, record is 4.2, If you do it again you should be able to drop the bandit body on the Sprint chassis and test with and without the front wing. Front wings were big on the OffRoad for awhile, not sure why they aren't as popular?
it was plenty entertaining. i think you should redo it with the same chassis. Im not a believer its just the body. or you felt so cool it was fast Edit: I would be more interested in average lap time over 5 good laps then just the perfect hero lap Edit Edit: weight em, i bet the sprint is 5% heavier Edit edit edit; hi mom
I don't own either of those I still watched that was a cool comparison vid nice work 👊
Very serious stuff! --- Agreed!!

These are life altering! Lol
Keep it coming! Cheers!

Can you make a video on the sprint bandit I want to try and build one

It’s a Budget class. Very popular at big dog Rc.
What do I need to mod the Bandit to a Sprint car? What post and body do I use?

Put the cook from the moppets in the car. It would look cool the sprint car
Your car looks like the cook Muppets
if body shape really matters, tuner-boots wins hands down... dude is a stud muffin.
😂😂😂
What body is that ? I have been interested in rc sprint cars but dont have a lot of information
I’m not sure . I got it used. Contact Jon at big dog Rc. I assume it’s a body he sells there in the hobby shop.
WOOOO !
LMT Vids! lol
Who makes the sprint body your using ?
I’m not sure. I got it used. Maybe someone can chime in and let us know.
What a great way to start a Sunday.....that was awesome....😎👍
Buggy needs a front wing and it'll work.
When I use to oval race pancars and oval gearbox trucks aerodynamics worked very well.
Can you run the sprint car body in a normal dirt buggy race
I could try!
@@mxacres let's go!!!
What body is it?
Not sure. Got it used

Try taking the body off of the sprit car and driving it
Oh, I really thought aerodynamics do matter a lot. Maybe not as much for these tiny little baby cars.
it does just not at this low of speeds
It does if the wing comes off a sprint car you can really tell how much it matters

A great idea to compare the two.
