EFCC Investigates Several Celebrities; 'Cubana Chief Priest' Granted 10 Million Naira Bail

The Federal High Court in Lagos has granted bail of 10 million naira to celebrity bartender, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest after he pleaded ‘not guilty’ to a Naira abuse charge.

As a Westerner who began following the African culture over a number of years. More so, the Nigerian/Ghanaian culture I have always wondered how was it legal to see that in your weddings and celebration ceremonies, money was thrown on the celebrant and others. I grew to accept that this was part of your culture. And now to see people are getting arrested and making jail for something that I observed being done to me for over 14 years. And clearly, this has been done for probably decades to you all. My question is, how is it that no one knew this was an illegal act to the point that it was a normal act at celebration ceremonies? In my country, every citizen knows this is illegal just as much as burning the national flag.

Well this pattern of spraying bundles of money in parties is more reasons our youths are going to astray just to be and do like others.
