Hey! It’s David from What’s the Dill-Yo! I’ve been waiting and watching for you’re RAGBRAI content! It’s so awesome that you guys made it a point to stop every day and see us! Glad to hear you’re coming back this year! See you soon!!!
Sorry for the delay life took over a little, but we are super pumped to see you guys this summer! We look forward to stopping daily and paying homage to the RAGBRAI Messiah and his faithful disciples! See you in July!!
I'll Be at my first RAGBRAI !!! I'm from the KC area. Not sure where you guys live but I noticed you did some videos here. Hope to meet you guys there. Thanks for the great advice.
Hi Angela, we live just outside of KC and love showcasing some of the wonderful rides in the area. We are glad to hear you signed up for RAGBRAI!! It is challenging but some of the most fun you can have anywhere. Before the weeks ride is out you'll be planning to ride next year! Hit us up on Roosevelt's Ride on Facebook or Instagram and maybe we could meet for a local ride before RAGBRAI.
I can't wait to be your support vehicle this year. You guys are so hilarious, yet quite informative. Eric & Christina & Nolan are the best. Go Ragbrai 2023!
Thanks Mom. We are excited that you and Dad are joining us this year!! We look forward to sharing all the sights and sounds the meeting and end towns have to offer!! It's an incredible adventure!
One of the best pieces of rhubarb pie I've ever eaten was in Neola in 2019. I should have gotten multiple pieces! Pie is a RAGBRAI staple.
Excellent tips, you gave 10 perfect highlights! One of the highlights I really enjoy is swimming in a pond, lake or pool, it feels so good on an "Iowa hot" day.
I especially liked #11, I think that is one of the best aspects of RAGBRAI. This will be my 12th year, I'm totally addicted. Over the years I ridden alongside so many interesting cyclists - Lance Armstrong, Jimmy Johnson, Nelson Vails, Ryan Van Duzer, older people, younger people, people from far away places - so many happy memories of nice conversations.
Thanks!
That is a great point! The one regret we have from our first RAGBRAI is that we didn't swim in any lakes, ponds, or pools. This is something we will rectify this year! Thank you for sharing your experiences of this wonderful week. We are excited to ride again this year and hopefully see you on the ride!!
You always stop for Beekmans ice cream no matter how long the line is I agree
Yes, its a RAGBRAI Must!!!
Church lady pie is really good, but particularly, Amish homemade pie and ice cream are to die for! 😊
Never pass up a free beer stop. There is always a lot of fun going on at those stops. Also go to the concerts at night.
Thanks, Eric and Christina! My two grown sons and I are doing Ragbrai L and we are super excited. Great tips and insider information from you both. Hope to meet you along the route! Is it wrong to want to stop at Mr. Porkchop EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. ???
Great content. Can I ask where you purchased the poster on the wall behind you? Very cool.
Are you guys going this year?
Yes, we registered the day registration opened! Can't wait to RAGBRAI again.
@@RooseveltsRide this will be my buddy and I first one I’m so excited
