Islam is the only non-Christian religion which makes it an article of faith for its followers to believe in Jesus (peace be upon him). "No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh)." (Quote by Sheikh Deedat at Durban City Hall).
About Sheikh Ahmed Deedat:
In 1986, the King Faisal Foundation awarded the King Faisal International Prize for SERVICE TO ISLAM, to a South African who is more or better known than many dignitaries in their own countries. This was the first time that this prestigious award has been awarded to a South African.
The recipient of this award was a man totally dedicated to his faith and its propagation and who was not afraid to challenge any one to a debate to settle once and for all the matter, who has the good news right?
He was none other than Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, reverently known and called UNCLE by those who hold him in high esteem and admiration.
The award came after a lifetime of struggle to propagate Islam and to defend Islam against the onslaught of the missionaries.
Finally, he was given recognition by the international Muslim community that he deserved and focused more sharply the attention of the Muslim world on the most important aspect of his work, the challenge to propagate Islam. This was his life long ambition to focus the Muslim world's attention and resources on the propagation of Islam, and at last he succeeded. What a moment of jubilation, achievement and personal gratification for Sheikh Deedat the award was, a turning point in his life.
Sheikh Deedat did not have much formal schooling, but he was self-taught through experience and a penchant for reading, debating, discussion, and a profound sense of commitment to a mission and goal. He was driven and goal oriented. He was focused and never let up until the job was done. He was sharp, perceptive, forthright, fiery, and daring in his challenge of those whom he debated, particularly against those who equal his missionary zeal and sense of audacity. Formal schooling did not destroy his creative prowess, his tenacity, ambition, drive, and sheer daring to swim upstream.
Sheikh Deedat was more a scholar of the Bible than the Qur'an, and was more familiar and adroit with its teachings. He had an insight and perspective of the Bible which made many Christians he came into contact with rethink and re-examine their faith, particularly those aspects of the Bible and the Qur'an that deal with the divine mission and life of Prophet Jesus.
On May 3, 1996, Sheikh Ahmed Deedat suffered a stroke which left him paralyzed from the neck down, and also meant that he could no longer speak or swallow. He was flown to a hospital in Riyadh, where he was taught to communicate through a series of eye-movements. He spent the last nine years of his life in a bed in his home in Verulam, South Africa, encouraging people to engage in da'wah. He continued to receive hundreds of letters of support from around the world. During these years, rumors spread throughout the Internet that he was already dead, and even some websites that contained his pamphlets mentioned as early as 2002 that he was dead.
On August 8, 2005, Ahmed Deedat finally succumbed to his prolonged illness and died at his home in Trevennen Road, Verulam in the province of KwaZulu Natal.
This man Ahmed Deedat is an ameen, sincere, truthful to his job. He is leaving no excuse for Allah to ask him a que on the day of Judgement.May Allah give him Jannatul ferdous and us to follow his path.

Can God glorify God? The Bible says “Yes”; and gives us Romans 1:8 wherein God the Father glorifies God the Son by saying, “Thy Throne, O God, is forever and ever.” Can God glorify God? The Quran says “Yes”; and gives us Quran 17:1 in which Allah glorifies another god who took Muhammad to the sacred mosque. Allah speaks in Q. 17:1: “Glory be to Him (god) who made His servant (Muhammad) to go on a night (flight) from the Sacred Mosque…which We (Allah) have blessed…”

TheYungapostle prophet mohammad peace be upon him is an unlettered man. Gabriel was sent by God to deliver him the message. This fact in history is checkable and God clearly says it in the quran. Why do Christians present themselves as scholars if they are that afraid of reading the quran?? And how can a man born in the desert of Arabia come to your church 600 years after Jesus to insert himself into the song of solomon in the bible??? Hahaha start opening your eyes. Friend im going to be super fair to you right here. The Jesus 'formed birds out of clay and breathed life into them' is only an account of Jesus in your Quran. The proper term for an individual believing in the one god of Abraham is Christian which proceeds your Muslim by many yrs.. Christ existed by Gods side since the beginning of time as the word, he IS god. Anything of God, IS God. Prophets carry a given message, they arent the message itself like Jesus. If Jesus is God why didnt he know when judgement day is? He says only the father knows. And if he is truly God allmighty... why does he make statements like: my father is greater than all, me of my own self can do nothing, by the finger of God i cast out devils..., my father is greater than i, hear o children of israel your lord is one!, many of such claims!! And more important: why dont you find a single statement in your whole corrupted bible where Jesus says: i am God or worship me. You wont find it!! Dont come with John his teachings. Your salvation depends on it, so we muslims do not understand why you christians are so easy about such a statement (to worship Jesus as God while God allmighty is a jealous God and commands in all the scriptures to keep away from that one Sin and that is to worship another besides the only one worthy of worship!!! Christians go by what is and was written and the muslim writes, Get it. The muslim writes, is the muslim man or god?. If the quran was written of god as a revelation it never would have referred to 'people of the book' since those not referring to the qurans mssge would be atheists and pagans...ask yourself why it did refer to 'people of the book' as a pose to just the 'prophet' jesus? because it needed to be legitimacy, what word of god begs legitimacy?.
The supernatural similarity between Allah and Jesus, according to Islamic theology, is astounding. Both create life. Consider this much: Allah formed man out of clay and breathed life into him. Jesus formed birds out of clay and breathed life into them. If the creation of life is the prerogative of Allah alone, then either Jesus, by creating life, is Allah, or Jesus over-stepped His bound when He created life. This makes Jesus un-submissive to the will of Allah and is disqualified as a Muslim.

I am saying your Quran begs legitimacy, its as if the New Testament were to say that christ early in his preaching met Moses and he and christ 'revised' his 10 commandments...but instead because jesus has last message from god he needn't throw moses in to make legitimate his message. Truth rides on its own it doesnt need legitimacy.

When the apostles asked Jesus what is the biggest command? He replied your lord is one lord. And what did you do 200 years after Jesus went away??? That is exactly why Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23 (i am not sure) about his second coming; many will say to me on that day, lord lord havent we prophecised in thay name, in your name casted out devil and do many mighty work.
