Why doesn't the river Hull have mud bank management? The mud looks horrible, Also as heavy industry has left and large ships don't use the river very often could the river be used as a canal network to Beverley and beyond? I guess new Huge lock gates would be needed as the tidal barrier being down most of the day wouldn't be an option and Hull would need to manage the waterway with access to the Humber when the tides are right but what huge potential for river boats up and down and people living on them, new builds all along the River would transform Hull from what is a wasted area to something quite beautiful.
