In my nail school my teacher taught us to wrap the foil with the shiney side inside and the matte part is outside. Its suppose to keep the heat in better when taking off the gel
I've been doing my own polygel nails for a few months now and I love it! It is so inexpensive and definitely one of those things where you get better the more you do it. Using the forms makes doing your right hand so much easier!
@@joonieeun I file them off. I use an electric nail file to get most of it off. Then when I start noticing I am closer to my actual nail I use a hand file. It is a little more work but if you get an electric nail file it goes by so much faster. I bought one on amazon for 20$ and it works really well.
@@valerief5810 likely the lamp just wasn't strong enough. You can buy polygel kits like makartt with a lamp included though this way you know the lamp will work with the kit.
omg i love how your nails came out!! the gold foil definitely completed the look and it made it look elegant. those shades of green are so so pretty too!
They came out so cute!💕 One thing you can do Tina, is when your applying your "gem gel" for a big stone or charm put a nice big bump then go over it with your top coat, then put on the gem and when you cure it your stone/charm will be perfectly adhered👍
Love it! I think for next time. you can pre file your dual forms so they fit your cuticle better! after you apply the jewel gel, float top coat on top instead of doing them seperate :)
When it comes to duel forms that don't fit your cuticle shape, you can always "season" them by filing the cuticle area of the form to fit your cuticle shape, just like how you would season a tip if the client was in between sizes.
i got a polygel kit for my birthday and i love it! It’s so easy to use and looks pretty good! It’s also great that everytime i want to redo my nails i don’t have to pay at a nail salon or something ❤️
im so glad Tina makes it clear she did have a lot of struggles with polygel! when polygel was the new craze, i bought a kit so excited. i QUICKLY learned dual forms aren't worth it for me. everyone else seems to have the easiest best time with dual forms, but i truly cant stand them. they truly dont fit my nail at all. and the cuticle edge it creates drives me crazy. her nails look GORGEOUS in the end, feels like she's Asian royalty and i love the jade bracelet inspo
I have those exact nail forms (both actually) the thumb is so small and it ruined my nail set, I only have the purple Makartt kit at the moment but I plan on getting the blue, green and pink eventually! Great video Tina ❤️
So mesmerized with the color& marbling 🌟!! Taking off old nail art is very meticulous can't imagine how hard doing it with nondominant hand 💫good job Tina❤
Those nails look so beautiful and elegant 🤗 I've been getting into polygel nails as well. I've only done one set so far because when I was shaving, I got my nail really bad so I'm just waiting for it to fully heal. I've really been loving your nail videos!
I would love to see you follow a Nail career education tutorial. Since you are now going to nail tech school and you are so good I would be curious. Suzie always has great tutorials.
These look so amazing! Can you please post an update video two weeks later? I found that with my Markartt poly gel, the area around the cuticles started lifting after 1 week.
I’m so excited for these videos I want to try this type of nails but I want to make sure I know what I’m doing . Can you do more videos of different Korean products ?
OMGGG thes are literally sooooo prettyyy😍😭 . I love them !! They came out sooo good. You're so talented Girl you should deffff take this further in life ! , get that baaag girl . 🥰🥰🥰
How long do you keep them to soak? And what do you use? Mine never come out when i soak them in acetone. I might do something wrong idk. I always have to file them manually and it takes ages
This was so satisfying to watch, you did a beautiful job! I'm not supposed to wear any polish to work, and I feel so uncoordinated with long nails (contact lens wearer problems!!) Will continue to live vicariously through your vids xx
I like how the nails match your outfits
Yes me too
Yeah i thought the same thing
In my nail school my teacher taught us to wrap the foil with the shiney side inside and the matte part is outside. Its suppose to keep the heat in better when taking off the gel
Ohh I didn’t know that
same as heat blankets!
that's helpful for a lot of us
I learned it from Naio Nails: if the forms don't fit perfectly you can just file some of the edge off.
You should do a series on " Tina NAILS it " in which you do nail art and other nail stuff ... It will be 🔥❤️🔥
the fact that her older nails stayed on for 5 weeks without lifting or anything like damn
She did say she got them done by the best nail artist in Singapore
I've been doing my own polygel nails for a few months now and I love it! It is so inexpensive and definitely one of those things where you get better the more you do it. Using the forms makes doing your right hand so much easier!
Can I know how to remove the polygel afterwards?

What nail lamp do u use ? I used one from Amazon before but never cured the gel fully. Not sure if it was the poly he’ll that was bad or the lamp :/
@@verondaalvarado5812 I see, thank you for the information 💕

Never seen anything like that gel squeeze container!! Love these nails!!! They’re SO CUTE!!

Those Jade nails are GORGEOUS!! 😍 omg I’m going to need to get this kit to do them on myself. Lol
omg i love how your nails came out!! the gold foil definitely completed the look and it made it look elegant. those shades of green are so so pretty too!

@@tina_yong LOVE your videos, love that you’re also becoming a nail artist 💜💜
The nail world has evolved so much. I didn’t know this was a thing. It looks so easy. 😭 I know I would mess up though LOL
Omg those greens are so inspirational!! I never think of greens when doing nail, but green looks so pretty 😍💚
Jade! Very like jewelry!

Makarrt is a really good brand! Their clear is so super clear!
Tina is honestly so talented, I don’t know how she does it but she’s such an inspiration ❤️

Your hair is gorgeous, I really appreciate your clear English narration on your videos!
I use this and I love the way my nails look when I use it
Nails were something I struggled with so much during cosmetology school and watching this makes me want to buy a polygel kit to practice 🥰🥰
I have those exact nail forms (both actually) the thumb is so small and it ruined my nail set, I only have the purple Makartt kit at the moment but I plan on getting the blue, green and pink eventually! Great video Tina ❤️

I would love to see you follow a Nail career education tutorial. Since you are now going to nail tech school and you are so good I would be curious. Suzie always has great tutorials.
Great idea!!
Will this come off with the cleanser you get
The cleanser won’t remove the polygel once it’s cured. It needs to be filed and soaked off with acetone
@@tina_yong ahhhh thank you so much for replying and btw I am your biggesttttt fan I love your videos soo soo much🥰🥰😊😊😊
Love it! Tina, try the other colors! Blue and purple! It would be interesting to see what you have in mind to create!!
Hii Tina! Stay safe we love you♥️
Oooo! Tina Yong dropping her Jade jewel nails. And Suzie with her Gold nails.
Love all these boujee "B* I am the jewel" nail arts.
These look so amazing! Can you please post an update video two weeks later? I found that with my Markartt poly gel, the area around the cuticles started lifting after 1 week.
A few weeks ago I found this brand and I’ve been watching people try it!!! I’m glad to see you also trying polygel nails and trying this brand
Got so excited when I saw this!!!
You can lightly file the forms to fit your cuticle friend.
Your nails are always the perfect mix of low-key and glam 😍
How long did it take to come?
You could file the cuticle area of the dual form to help it match your cuticle area better
Wow 🤩 beautiful nails you made. It makes me want to try it out for myself. Love the video, it was so peaceful to watch.
These are sooooo pretty!!!
These are gorgeous. I love Jade.
I’m so excited for these videos I want to try this type of nails but I want to make sure I know what I’m doing . Can you do more videos of different Korean products ?
Love you the nails came out great 💕
Love your nail videos Tina!
You can cut the form to fit your cuticle. Like make it smaller so it can fit.
OMGGG thes are literally sooooo prettyyy😍😭 . I love them !! They came out sooo good. You're so talented
Girl you should deffff take this further in life ! , get that baaag girl . 🥰🥰🥰

So beautiful...i love how they turned out😍
I love your hair color. Looking good
I really love your blonde hair. It suits you so well.
Your hair color looks so amazing!!!! You're so pretty 💚
How long do you keep them to soak? And what do you use? Mine never come out when i soak them in acetone. I might do something wrong idk. I always have to file them manually and it takes ages
You need to file them down as much as you can then soak them in acetone, this will speed up the soak time.
Thank you, Tina ❤
You should watch longhairprettynails she always use this sierra sky kits and explain how to do polygel.
Why is Tina good at literally everything
SO beautiful! 😍😍😍
This was so satisfying to watch, you did a beautiful job! I'm not supposed to wear any polish to work, and I feel so uncoordinated with long nails (contact lens wearer problems!!) Will continue to live vicariously through your vids xx
