Hi Lisa!! Congrats on your huge finish - it's just beautiful!! I always love stash-diving with a friend. You've got such lovely charts and many that I haven't seen before! Sending big hugs your way! 💚💚
Absolutely smitten with your Jane Austin finish!! The colors are what do me in, and you picked the perfect blue. Enjoyed your pattern flip through… I have the ocean stocking (can’t remember the name) but I bought the modified version on her Etsy store, so it’s a band sampler instead of a stocking. I’d love to stitch it some day but I’m also working down my WIP pile for now. Thanks for the update, happy stitching! -Leah Noel
How wonderful that your husband built that storage unit. I love the organization. You can label the bins and find everything so easily. Love vertical storage!
Hi Lisa! I’ll also be attending the Farm Girl retreat in Amana in November. It will be my first Farm Girl retreat. I look forward to meeting you and saying hello in person! 😀
Lisa your finished sampler turned out beautiful. Your tower turned out great. Thank you for sharing all your goodies. I have been in the sewing mod! Have a great weekend!
I have metal hoop like that. It is from my early days when my grandma taught me satin stitch and lazy daisies! To my knowledge back then that was what there was. period. and J P Coats floss. I still have a skein priced 10¢! The hoop can be used if you place tissue paper over your work before pressing it into the hoop. Then tear away the tissue from the work area. Enjoy your vids!
I loved everything you stitched. Can your hubby come over and build we one of those storage units?🤣 I live in SC so that is a bit far, but you are so lucky to have a handyman for a husband. I will definitely come by and see you at the Fall Retreat with Beth Twist. I am so excited to get to attend, but that will be my last retreat for the year. You always have great Flosstubes and I have been watching for a long time. I will not be at The Attic as I just returned from Summer School and show lots of video, photos, and such of all the stitching and visiting we all did on my Flosstube Stitching Scottie. Hope you check it out. Jean and her staff are always the best hosts and I wish I could return later this year, but one trip a year to The Attic is my limit. Dottie
I enjoyed seeing all of your projects. Such fun! I also just bought Tending the Tulips by BG. Love it! I am so happy she just recently started to offer her OOP punch new needle designs again. Vintage Blessings is a favorite shop of mine🥰. Until next time👋
Your shirt matches your cabinet! Your Jane Austen sampler is gorgeous. I was hem-hawing about getting the Summer Moon pattern, but after seeing your progress, I need to get it. It was fun seeing all the Kathy Barrick patterns and hearing your comments….you just might end up with more than 40 wips if you keep looking at them. Blessings and take care.
Great bin storage! Maybe one for hunting gear😉. A note on the metal hoop. Rust can be an issue, yours looks in great shape. One concern is how your body oils/ chemistry work with ( or not) with the metal). Watch for grey (tarnish) marks not so much rust on your fabric. Of course pop it off when you stop stitching. Happy stitching🙂🌷
Thanks for the designer parade, I had to write down two charts!😊 There are so many designs I want to start but I got to stay the course on my WIPs, I've got the pile down to 20🤪
Hi Lisa, love a designer parade. This one was great, especially as I sat here stitching on Crow No. 5. For this fall Pineberry Lane and Not Forgotten Farm are high on my stitching list.
Your Persuasion finish is beautiful, and iI absolutely love the colors on your Summer Moon piece! That bin storage looks awesome. I could use 2 or 3 of those myself 😂. I liked seeing all the charts you showed today. I really like the Kathy Barrick/Carriage House designs. I think every stitcher should have at least one of their designs in their repertoire 😊. Good for you for sticking with paring down the wip pile! You have so many gorgeous pieces, they should be finished and out for everyone to see😊. Have a great weekend!
I worked on Rose Wreath today, and have Jane Summers Work and Leeds Sampler kitted and ready to go. Carol Saltbox also has Jane Summers to do. I, too, have big things, but many of them are full coverage huge things. I guess we just keep plugging along and enjoy them.
Hi Lisa, I always enjoy listening to you. Did your husband get the well dug? You are so prolific and I so admire that trait. Can your patterns really fit in all that beautiful shelving. Can't wait until you pop up again. Thanks
That tote organization tower is awesome!!! I hope the smoke isn't blowing your way! I feel about you & your stitching as you do about Saltbox Stitcher!!! ❤❤❤ have a great long weekend! If you haven't watched Running with Scissors Stitching with Jane & Julie, you should! I like Cows episode of theirs was the best!!!
The smoke's blowing east and the rain has been helpful. Thanks for your kind comment. I love Sylva's channel and maybe I missed one. I'll have to check it out
awesome designer parade! my new year start will be the Swan Sampler! my poor swan has been waiting, all kitted and zipped in a dark bag..lol…your collection is amazing! so much fun awaits!
@@kindredstitcher yes I have a piece of 36 Ash fabric by xjude from Kitten Stitcher..however on her sight now the piece of fabric for ash is greenish turquiose which is an error…on etsy I found xjude ash which looks like what I have….The DMCs i have look pretty good..may have to tweak a green. I have no needlework shop to look at linen in person. As a quilter I am used to getting my hands and eyes on the fabric as I shop so never getting to see the linen in person kills me. Somehow I picked this ash. I should put some test stitches in with the colors. I may have to get brave and swap a few.. 😊
Love seeing your work Lisa! Question for you, when you're looking at stitching a large house do you outline it first, do windows and then fill in , or do you outline it, stitch the main body of it and then fill in the windows and door? All my WIPS seem to have large houses right now!
Your toy sewing machine looks similar to a Singer 20 machine which I have. It is easy to find a manual online. It requires a special needle, also easy to find. There is no bobbin as the machine does a chain stitch. It will sew. I made a simple four patch block with mine which I display under the presser foot. You just need the right needle and know how to thread the machine and oil it.
When I woke up this morning, I was surprised to find that I'd sold two copies of the Gingham Dog when I almost never sell that chart. Then I watched one of my favorite influences while drinking my coffee and the mystery was solved! 😁 We should SAL Autumn on Lazy Bear for Dark October! Mine needs love!
It depends. I've sent them to Total Framing in VA, to a local shop called Silverton Art &Frame, to Reflections Framing &Stitching. I've had some framed at Hobby Lobby. Kind of a mix I guess.
Your Persuasion is gorgeous! And thanks again for the UFO you sent, it is in my “to-be-stitched” bin. ETA: Which quilt store are you referring to? I want to check it out! 😊
You have really been busy working on those WIPs. I can’t even guess how many I have. I will have to check out the FT that you mentioned. I started one a few months back . Would love to have you check it out “ Lady Huzzah Presents” . ( I’ve done 4. Yes - it is a bit tough doing them by yourself! Nobody to “play “ off of. )I love yours though .
Love your finish and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
Well now I have to order Summer Moon!!! It is so beautiful. Love seeing your beautiful stitching.
Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for all the eye candy and inspiration ❤
Hi Lisa!! Congrats on your huge finish - it's just beautiful!! I always love stash-diving with a friend. You've got such lovely charts and many that I haven't seen before! Sending big hugs your way! 💚💚
Thank you!!
Persuasion is Gorgeous - congrats on the finish. I’ve not seen some of the Kathy Barrick stitches. The stockings are wonderful. Great FT.
Oh my, those Hawk Run Hollows! They're beautiful. I'm not going to stitch them but they are beautiful.
Good morning! Great stitching. Jeremiah Junction stopped designing years ago, about broke my heart lol.. happy stitching!
So much goodness! I haven’t seen some of those Kathy Barrick’s. Yum!! Persuasion is absolutely heavenly! Congratulations!! Happy stitching!!❤
I love that sampler by Kathy Barrick!
Great finish of Persuasion, it's so beautiful. Thank you for sharing all the lovely Kathy Barrick charts.

I didn't know there was another version!
Persuasion is gorgeous!
Great stitching, & future starts.

Thank you so much!
Thank-you for sharing with us all your great stash and projects, love the quilt bag.
Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Very enjoyable video. Thanks.
I'm also stitching Summer Moon and loving it! All of your needlework is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Lisa, I always enjoy listening to you. Did your husband get the well dug? You are so prolific and I so admire that trait. Can your patterns really fit in all that beautiful shelving. Can't wait until you pop up again. Thanks
Yes! The well is dug and Todd's working out a filtration system
How true…I did three starts to my flosstube on Friday before the first five minutes made sense.
Sometimes it takes a few tries before it takes

That Swan Sampler is so rich in color. Are you stitching it on a dark fabric?

It just kind of depends. Probably more often than not I'll outline then fill in. I do love a good brick house

I forgot about your cats! How are they doing since the move. They live in barn? I so want to start the home one too!
They're doing great, hunting all the things and tracking mud everywhere.

The quilt store nearby is Finally Together Quilts in Lebanon. Great store!
