I couldn't imagine laying my life down for one of Trudeau's idiotic decisions.
Frikken bingo!
That's why I retired in 2017
@@robwaters8153after 3 trips to Afghanistan I found our liberal ndp to be worse then any foreign military in its effective in division, fearmonging and undermining our nation's security..
Not a chance.
Don't forget Bill Blair, I jumped ship in 2014.
Imagine being sent abroad because someone used the wrong pronouns?
...and that wouldn't happen.
Yeah western's civilization is in a state of mental illness.
Imagine being declined by the junior recruiter because you had the wrong pronouns.
@@ianarchibald1423definitely true now as even the PER csn not have he or her.
You’re a weirdo lmao
respectfully why defend a country won't let you defend your family and home
You nailed it
@@Viewpoint11 i hear there is a real gun problem in my city. mass shooters everywhere according to the news. I'd rather be safe than sorry 😉
@@Viewpoint11 CRIMINALS gives guns a bad name same as prostitutes give all women a bad name.
@Viewpoint11 lay off the glue bud
They might have better recruiting if we didn't have absolute clowns running the show at the top. Having country still worth defending would also be a plus.
Who would want to join after seeing how they treat our military and veterans. Think the mandates have any thing to do with it.
We dont need freedumers in the miltiary thx.
@bonbonvegabon On that note it's time for your booster.
Time for you to graduate high school freedumber @@EyeSee4.8
Who would join the army of a country that doesn't care for it's own wounded veterans ? And a country with a PM that doesn't attend Remembrance Day.
A Country that doesn't care about wage decline and increased cost of living on its citizens.
I regret every minute in the CAF. Wasted my time. Federal government can’t get anything done.
How did it?
RCN, RCAF or army?
@@Tribuneoftheplebs RCN
Let's remember the Edmonton Townhall when the Great Veteran was told by Trudeau "We are fighting will several veteran groups in court because they are asking for more than we are able to give" - The crowd goes on to BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO him..

Heart problems in the American military have increased 900%. Can you guess why? Rhymes with bax randates.
This is absolutely untrue and has no grounding in reality.
Your Excellency did you try recruiting members of the LGBTQI+2S community ???
Blahahahaha
All of them braver than a con voter lol
@bonbonvegabon I was in the forces from 1994 till 2017 and no they caused more problems than anyone .we had a outstanding fighting force now we have a bunch of pansies fighting among themselves.
We have 3 tactical attack canoes, 7 Super soakers , and a disagreeable Duck named Harold . Who we planing to invade ? Canada's Wonderlands water park?
State of the art canoes if you please and Harold is one bad ass mofo.
I was waiting for the canoe joke 😂
the problem is that you apply but the processing itself takes a very long time.
Scrap Bill C21
Does ANYONE EVER ASK WHY OUR CAF RECRUITING IS SO BAD PROBABLY VERY QUIETLY I BET
I'm two years into my application process to the Canadian navy. I want nothing more than to serve in a career with the Royal Canadian navy.
Canada has navy? I had to look it up it says it has 4 submarines it purchased used from UK, but 2 are leaking or are in perpetual state of repairs.
My son chose to be a marine worker instead. Pays much better, tonnes of work, and he gets to sleep in his own bed at the end of a shift on the ships. Navy is a pretty tough sell by comparison, and frankly can't compete.
You get to fight in every american war without the leadership, training or equipment. Where do I sign?
Canada has a navy?
Get the migrants to sign - up to serv their new found beloved country , let me know how that works !!!
Should be mandatory for migrants.
Permanent residents can join the CAF. Many have. Many new Canadians are very passionate about Canada. Unlike many of todays youth.
@@lilfrezzy456 Because those youth have seen the decline in the Canadian way of life. They see they have no chance to have what their parents had.
@@Headinavise it was the same when I was in high school. Canadians aren’t as patriotic these days even before Trudeau era.
We barely have a coast guard.. lol " Navy that a strech for sure.
Oh they need more money, lots more money, Trudeau would get rid of him if he did not say anything other then what he said.
A country where the youth have been given few opportunities, sold dreams that were unachievable, blamed for the problems of the older generations, and cursed to a time where our country is led by oligarchs and business interests that don't care to encourage our own young to prosper and have families. What kind of a country is this? Why defend a country that chooses to let its own veterans, and its own citizens now in general to live on the streets. Its amazing they even wonder why they struggle to recruit, its obvious.
Navy is a hard sell these days. Drone operator is the way to go.
I really believe Canada has to separate from NATO and start building their own military slowly. If we are not attacked why would be have to put our men for the fight that doesn't make sense to anyone. The biggest problem is that they are short staffed because no one is motivated enough to serve under the person that is not capable to run our country.
Canada doesn't have a navy ,west edmonton mall had more submarines than the Canadian navy ,in the 80's & 90's ,they shut down their submarines at west ed mall ,or they would still have more than the Canadian navy
Ouch.. I was Army Combat Engineer in 2012, different times already
Cut $1 billion but spend almost $ 78 billion on 15 frigates ($5.2 per). I can see why they need the savings. Not saying we don't need new ships because we do but to put that amount into perspective a Gerald R. Ford (latest) aircraft carrier is roughly 3X the cost and an Arleigh Burke is around $2 billion CAD. Thanks for the great deal Irving - goodness!
Ya this is why the U.K moved away from sole sourcing a shipyard, they tend to be more expensive. The government should have built its own shipyard and ran it to avoid the bloat.
U can join but before you sign the documents U tell them I am putting on my uniform protect our borders not some else .
Hard work scares me.
Can I get a 3-day work week? Do I get to work at home? 😂
This came just in time as I am ready to join just probably not to the navy
Joining the navy was the best move I made tbh
i tried to join the military in my early 20's was told im not eligible due to celiac disease... what could have been...
how do they even test for that unless you disclose that? I have asthma but i never disclosed it to them, cause i wanted to join
What could have been, was you would have been a risk to your unit by being vulnerable to getting sick and becoming useless due to gluten exposure. It's not just about you.
@jamesvarpalotai5481, who cares, he still has the right to serve.
@@1235ghright. Because every person who wants to join the military have the right to endanger everyone on their team.
@@umani9983 makes no sense

Is Vice Admiral Topshee likely to be the next Chief of the Defence Staff in the usual tri-service rotation?
There’s a branch of study in sociology that only examines documents to learn about social behaviours. Maybe this is an example: look at the names of the 158 soldiers killed in Afghanistan. What you’ll notice is the names are still a match to the ones written on our cenotaphs from WW1 and WW2. Now think about the patterns of immigration to Canada over the past 120 years. Are there conclusions about recruitment to be drawn from these documents?
No mention of retenion issues, which I believe are even more critical than the poor recruiting numbers. The RCN doesnt want to look in the mirror to see that it is failing the current members, who in turn will keep their friends and family away from the CAF.
why would one join if equipment is trash and there's no where to deploy
Canada should step up for their military defense and lead the world democracy...
Under staffed, and where are their ships?😡😡😡😭😭😭
We have three massive stunning ocean coastlines. And then there are the international tours. An incredible oppertunity. The new ships being built are incredible. Not only necessary in today's world, but a truly professional career opertunity. There are such a variety of Jon descriptions CAF overall that it really does take diverse skill sets to fill them.
I'm very glad the investment increase stoll outweighing the cuts was brought up. Any cuts are disapointing, but as long as we are still improving we're not sliding backwards.
Much respect.
Nato too right? I wonder if the United States Naval is Nato as well? Which flag do we burn, right?
