      I completely agree! Train to Busan is a masterpiece among zombie movies - the emotions, action, and story are top-notch. Unfortunately, it’s a shame it’s not on Netflix, as it deserves to be more widely accessible.

      True, World War Z is a great pick! The movie brings a unique approach to the zombie genre, especially with its global scale and intense action. If it’s your favorite, I totally get it-it’s a solid film!

    the thing is, in walking dead universe, it takes 24-48hrs to turn. with black summer n all of us are dead, its seconds/minutes ANDDD they have energy! walkers are superrr slow. i think it this ever happens, walking dead zombies would never be able to take over

    • @bestmovies-wg1rq
      @bestmovies-wg1rq  9 днів тому +1

      You’re absolutely right-the difference in turning time and energy level makes a huge impact on how dangerous zombies are. The fast zombies from Black Summer and All of Us Are Dead are truly terrifying because their unpredictability and speed are on another level. In a real scenario, The Walking Dead zombies might struggle to take over-they’re just too slow!

    I love Kingdom. S. Korea does zombies really well.

      I agree, Kingdom is an amazing series! South Korea truly excels in zombie productions-their storytelling and atmosphere are top-notch. Do you have another favorite title from Korea?

    Black summer has to be the most realistic

    • @bestmovies-wg1rq
      @bestmovies-wg1rq  8 днів тому

      Totally agree! Black Summer really captures the raw chaos and unpredictability of a true apocalypse. The way people panic, make mistakes, and sometimes act selfishly feels so real. It’s not just about the zombies-it’s about how humans behave under pressure. What was your favorite intense moment from the show? For me, that stadium scene was pure madness!

      World War z is a good movie but the book is way better

    • @bestmovies-wg1rq
      @bestmovies-wg1rq  9 днів тому

      I agree, The Walking Dead is an absolute classic when it comes to zombie series-it does an amazing job with tension and character development. As for movies, World War Z is a fantastic pick-the fast zombies and global scope give it a unique vibe.

    • @bestmovies-wg1rq
      @bestmovies-wg1rq  9 днів тому

      You’re absolutely right! World War Z as a movie is solid, but the book offers so much more depth and diverse perspectives. The documentary-style storytelling and detailed accounts of the global crisis make it a truly unique read. It’s often hard to capture that richness in a single film. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

    All of these were good, a few standouts: Kingdom, all of us are dead, TWD season 1,2 & 3, black summer great, bust it got cancelled for no apparent reason. CARGO is horrific, immeasurably sad, but a stand out tale. I think Korea is edging to be the best Z storytellers maybe a tie between them and the UK.

      I agree, Black Summer had such a unique vibe and did an amazing job portraying the chaos of a zombie apocalypse. It’s a shame it didn’t get more seasons-the story had so much more potential!

    Majority of those are crap, walking dead started really well but the later seasons were just rubbish, when they started making 24 episodes per season majority of the episodes were just fillers, completely spoilt it

    • @bestmovies-wg1rq
      @bestmovies-wg1rq  9 днів тому

      I totally get your disappointment. The Walking Dead started off strong-the early seasons were intense and captivating. Unfortunately, in later seasons, it feels like quantity outweighed quality, and those 'filler' episodes definitely took away some of the enjoyment. It’s a shame when a great show loses its initial spark.

    I’ve been rewatching The Walking Dead on Netflix. It fizzled out near the end, but I forgot how great those first few seasons were.

      I totally agree-the first few seasons of The Walking Dead are truly masterpieces. The atmosphere, tension, and character development were so captivating. It did lose some of its charm towards the end, but those early episodes remind us why everyone fell in love with the show. Enjoy your rewatch-it’s a great way to relive those emotions!

      @@craiggillett5985 I liked MOST of the saviours arc in 6-8 and the Whisperers in 9-10 but they definitely had the characters making ridiculous decisions to stretch them out. It lost its mojo after Carl, Rick and Michonne left the series.
      I still watched to the bitter end because I love the genre and I was a HUGE fan of the comic, but it limped to the finish line for sure.
