What running board are you running also? That white then black and stripes then chrome boards, set it ALL OFF! Love the build. May do something real similar but with the old bullet hole M/T rims. You truly must be a Ford kinda guy, I went through the same situation, I purchased a Killah 1988 Ford Ranger XLT 2.9L 2wd my favorite, little surface rust, paint still cherry interior clean, engine needed work 96791 OG miles what. That engine should've been replaced with a reman engine but I decided to rebuild it since I was laid off because of Covid-19, still a work in progress kinda of thing. Make sure you know what you're getting into before hand and can "A FORD" whatever it is.

Shouoda just ran a holley engine harness.... They're super easy to wire, and set up plus lots of tuning abilities. Did it to my buddies ls swapped c20 and it was like a weekend of work.
What did yall do for a/c on this. I recently did an ls swap on a bronco and the gm compressor would not fit in the stock location without cutting up the frame
Axle fun stuff will come soon enough! As for engine choice, we've got alot of guys here who have worked with LS based engines, and swaps so it made it an easier choice! Plus coyote is still pricey

It’s your build so do what you want but why ls? Why not coyote or bbf? Why Dana 50 ttb and not Dana 60?

I always take mine off. They can’t support a bigger than stock tire and they get in the way when opening the gate and they look cleaner without.
