Vholran definitely ended up being a better foil for the main character than I first gave him credit for both figuratively and gameplay wise, even if he is just edgy-anime-sword-man at the end of the day.
I beat the game a few days ago, but I didn’t realize the game had so much more optional boss battles. I don’t think I’ll bother with them, but that is definitely some nice side content! And I agree Almeidrea was a great fight!
Definitely saving this for later and will check when I beat parts of the game. Don't wanna spoil myself half the game, but great stuff man

Seeing this makes me wish for a remake of the original xbox game Sudeki. One of my favs of all time. Salute to anyone who knows it 👌

3. Almeidrea and Mesmald
4. Chronos
5. Sword Ranker
Vhloran is definitely one of my favorites, but the lead up to him was harder than the fight itself.
Can't wait to buy this game

This game looks beautiful and Animation is smooth but when you hit enemy its like there is no impact. Like seriously why? Is this a bug

Many good Bosses but sadly also very dissapointing ones aswell.
All the elemental battles except Undine where bullshit. Sure they did look nice but in the end the adds are the boss. And the Final Boss/es of the game....well....trainingwheels are on again i guess ? At least the Ex Dungeon made up for it.

This game has one of the cringiest combat I've ever had the displeasure of viewing... The style is good and I see why this game is very appealing but holy damn will these characters never shut up about shouting punchlines and the names of their moves. It's impossible to be invested when every second several characters shout something cliché like "it's over" for 10000th time. And you can't even turn the voice lines off... Why?!

Lol that's classic tales. They've been doing that forever. When I first played Xillia it took me a hot minute to get used to Jude screaming "DEMON FIST!!!" all the damn time. It's kinda cringey. But whatever. EMBRACE THE CRINGE FRIEND

That's why I'm playing it with Japanese voice lines. I can easily regard lots of their gibberish shouting as one of them background effect sounds.
