The melody is by Beethoven not Mozart. The cafe mixed it up. Flintstones Melody from Beethoven: Sonate für Klavier Nr. 17 in d-Moll op. 31 Nr. 2, „Der Sturm“
Video popped up in the YT recs thumbnails. The question here should be "Did Hoyt Curtin Use a Mozart Melody for his Flintstones Theme?" I don't think Wolfgang composed a 1960 theme tune, haha. So, I need to ask: exactly which piece of Mozart music contains those notes? I couldn't really hear much of the narration here because the mic seems a bit far from the narrator.
@@Vextrove You mean starting at 17:42 ... those three notes? Similar, yes, but if it had been more than three then I'd be convinced that Hoyt copied the melody. Thanks. :) Edit: hang on, it's more than three notes as the piece goes along. Maybe five. Hmmm. You may be on to something, lol.
This is going around Twitter right now, and OMG this is freaking me out 😳
This sounds like a rendition of the Flintstones theme for a special episode guest starring Liberace.
I'm sorry I can't give this lovely little video more than one like. Huge respect! ❤️
I just came across this same meme, and my good sir you have answered every question I had.
Thank you
I got this in my recommendations and i gotta say i don't regret clicking on it

Came here to say the same 👍
Yup. Video is a fail. Beethoven wrote it.
Ooh, I recognize that... it must be the unfinished symphony!
I wish this video got as popular as the meme that started it!
aplause

This was a rather early and highly ad-hoc stream of mine, but yeah, I wasn't actually suggesting Mozart wrote the theme to the Flintstones. :)
Try Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 23 in A, K. 488

@@Vextrove I think Beethoven's Tempest, 2nd mvmt, Measure 35 is an even better fit...
Hanna-Barbera Bros. liked Mozart.
1:00 piece name?
