I haven't recently had any notifications from you. I had no idea you were moving but I know you said California was expensive. Can anyone tell me if you got the TransAm back?
Never thought you two would end up in my neck of the woods xD PA has been exploding with people over the last year hope you guys can find a quiet spot with some land! Also prepare for some incredible roads, some god awful ones too :)
You should double check your speed and mpg considering the taller tires you're running. Your speedo and odometer may not be accurate if you haven't corrected them for the tire size and resulting taller gearing. You might be getting better mileage than you think. Good Luck!
@@mikaelhg It's not like he's going to turn the truck into a boat and cross the Atlantic in it. There are not enough petrol stations on the way anyway.

That's in Great Bend/Hallstead, PA. I know exactly where that intersection is, been there a few times on road trips. In fact, I bought a pile of crap Porsche 944 about 30-40 minutes away from there and used that same gas station to full it up for the 1st time and drove it to Syracuse, Ny... It broke down 3 times on that trip 😂
I just contributed to the cause. There's a whole lot of land between Cali. and the east coast. I would have been proud if you guys had decided to set up shop in the Louisville, Ky area. It's a big city with all the big city benefits but a short drive and you're in Gods country (certain people would have a harder time finding you). Fuel is Cheaper, rent and real estate is cheaper and this part of the country has a thriving Car culture (No Cali. Lower taxes, cheaper gas, less expensive property, less homeless people flinging cups of feces.... whats not to like. Other than the weather I'm not sure why any sensible person lives in California. Its for the super rich and the super destitute, everybody in between is being forced out.
My siblings, my mom, and I are all west coast natives, the cost of living has gotten too high. Starting in January 2020, we all left for Texas. Best decision ever made! Folks are so much nicer, cost of living is so much lower. Also, the lockdown in Texas ended in May 2020 and never came back, been going to concerts, buffets, church, and sporting events, most folks have not adopted the fear and it feels so refreshing. If you are going to west Pennsylvania it's pretty similar, just be ready for the brutal winter!
Welcome to the East Coast! I think you will find a good combination of work contacts and more reasonable price of living arrangements...and friendly people too. I live in the Metro Atlanta area but Pennsylvania/Upstate New York have some beautiful areas to enjoy. If you live in the right county you won't even have to do Emissions Testing on your Worthless Whips! Looking forward to your upcoming content. :)
Wonderful. As someone born and raised in New York, there's a wonderful places around there. Where exactly are you going to end up? Don't forget, you are going to experience winter. Real winter
Best wishes for the move. I wonder how you transported all your different cars and bikes from one end of the country to the other. And whatever happened to those Japanese 50cc trikes you bought?
Awesome, I've still never done a literal coast-to-coast road trip. I once moved from Florida to San Diego, but I stopped in Arkansas for a month en route.
Longest road trip I ever took was Chicago to the Black Hills region of South Dakota and Chicago to Atlantic City. Both about the same distance. I will be planning a road trip to Arizona soon. 26 hours.
The Beast of the East looks good. I was guesstimating about 10mi/gal, but I see I was a bit too optimistic. Regardless, Winston, welcome to the East and while it'd be great to have you here in NY, PA has some considerable advantages regarding costs and taxes. I hope you find yourself settling in quickly. Take care, W.
They mentioned they will be releasing a video about it on their “ADVChina podcast” channel soon, but they’re still in the process of moving, which is inevitably causing some delays.
Hopefully you guys start making videos up this way, would be cool to see some familiar places, keep up the good work and stay safe! Northern PA is a beautiful place
Fellow California UA-camr Jaret Campisi also moved to Pennsylvania! He lived in Santa Barbara and made Ducati videos but the newly imposed 40% tax law affected him greatly.
I hope you're not moving to New York. Financially it is only minimally less expensive than California. But, anywhere you all settle, I hope you're safe.
For the longest time, California used to be the place where a lot of Americans dreamed of moving to and having a better life. Now because of decades of really bad policies, so many people are looking to get the hell out of California. It’s really a shame. Did C-Milk warn you about the winters out here? Some years it’s pretty mild but other years you can get hit with some extreme cold or ridiculous amounts of snow.
You say it makes financial sense to leave Cali, but you went to a high tax and big gov intervention state. It will become like the state you left soon enough or worse.
Wouldn't last long with that Viper here in the UK :) ... to be fair I drive a V8 Camaro which does about 14mpg, that's not seen much action recently...
You're stopped in Halstead, PA there. I used to have to drive between NYC and Toronto almost every weekend. It's a horribly boring drive, but I'd stop at Dobbs Country Kitchen in the background there. Great food! I don't miss the drive but I miss the food. Good luck with your new home.
I'm a bit surprised you picked CA in the first place. It's not a terribly business-friendly state, and you're not allowed to defend yourself either. The crooks have all the rights.
Had no idea they went out to the promise land of PA just stay out of Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, and philly then you'll be a okay and maybe avoid Scranton if you go north
California has the glitz and glam but the East coast has it’s own type of charm. A drive in the Appalachian mountains when the leaves are changing colors for the fall season is so blissful.
Glad to see you're finally getting away from the financial drain that is California. Too expensive, too crowded and too much pollution. Never really did make any sense that you guys set up shop there when you could work from anywhere with an internet connection but whatever, I'm sure the girls appreciated the huge asian communities in SoCal. and just FYI, basically every US city with a pop over 100k has a bunch of small ethnic markets, they aren't huge but if you want to buy some mae ploy chili sauce or some particular brand of noodles they can likely hook you up even in kansas. Cheers!

That's $11.37 NZD per gallon.. look how disadvantaged we are in New Zealand compared to people in the U>S>A.. it's a rip off living in New Zealand.. you guys have it a lot better then we do!!
