This is easy ..... its LUTON win vs Wat f😮ord. Not because it our rivals down the road. Not because we needed the 3 points. This was about the longevity of this team and its relationship with the fans. I'm not one of those " If Luton does not win then Rob is out" sort of fickle fans. I knew that a lose means that it be hard for Rob to keep his relationship tight with the fans. The performance...... that PERFORMANCE.....we showed yesterday was what luton fans wanted to see. Not trying to be tippy tappy like we are some prem team but going back to how we played the last time in the championship. Hard fast direct play . Watford and I think most championship teams would not be able to handle us if we played like that week in week out. The players looked comfortable in this formation with the added bonus trickery with Rob tactics. That Harry Potter team could not handle it. COYH
Leeds fan here, Cardiff probably had the most important win this week I'd reckon, they've proven that they can score goals (more than doubling the goals they'd already scored in the past 9), depends on momentum though. Apart from that, Leeds' win was most impressive due to the circumstances (2 first teamers out, 12 national teamers and 0 days full team training).
Cardiff have played most of the top ten teams very early on, we looked very good before the red card and used the space well to score three after. The Plymouth keeper was their man of the match, it could have been eight or more
After losing heavily to Stoke and not winning at home against Oxford, Pompey really had their backs against the wall at Loftus Road, so this win was massive. On Tuesday they travel to Cardiff, which will be equally as big, and another game they need to get something from.
Totally agree with you Mr B, its a massive win for us, bloom in typical (did you see what I did there lol) that Cardiff turn in their best display too.........and we go there Tuesday! If we get something out of that one then I really think we will build and move on up! PUP
It was a massive win for Luton Ben. We looked like the old Luton with 3 in midfield who bossed it. Morris and Adeybayo up front, who were both brilliant. Unfortunately, we had 4 injuries, Krauss, Chong, Burke, and Holmes. In the end, we were playing with Hashioka and Doughty as centre backs. So we have one recognised centre back for the Sunderland game at the moment. I thought Holmes was a concussion, but apparently, it's not. Let's hope we get him back or we are in trouble Wednesday.
Last week I was thinking that we were play off candidates, today I feel we are relegation certainties. We let Cardiff have a field day and they made the most of it, good luck to them!
It remains to be seen how important this win was for Luton, they were in danger of going into the bottom three, the derby win will kickstart their season, now the players will believe that playing like they did Saturday for the rest of the season could well get them a ticket for the end of season lottery.
Have to say the Luton win is probably the biggest, took points from a team much higher in the table. Feels like it could be a great kickstart to the coming matches
I must admit I enjoy your content you rarely disappoint good topic league slowly sorting it's self out caint believe how Plymouth were doing albeit that bad loss yesterday and Coventry what's going on there
Wish I had so much energy when worse for wear. Leeds win was big because we showed we can perform despite the international break impacting key players and the midfield injuries. I think it shows that Farke has stumbled on a winning formation. Watch us lose the next one.
Best football I’ve seen played by Cardiff city in a long while. It looks like the handbrake has been taken off and the players looked really fluid. Rubin colwill is starting to justify the hype, strong and direct. But we need a quality target man, then we will be absolutely fine
Cardiff are the biggest winners, scoreline definitely, 5 goals and 5 scorers breeding confidence through the group, clean sheet confidence in the defence and an interm manager doing his reputation no harm at all, bluebirds are looking up
The biggest wins in order of significance / importance: 1. Portsmouth 2. Leeds 3. Bristol City 4. Sunderland 5. Cardiff 6. Blackburn 7. Burnley 8. Preston That pretty much covers it right? 😉 🐝🐝🐝
Burnley, back where we belong. We need to go up, watched some awful matches though. But got the 3 points, massive difference to Kompany, but with the likes of Koleosho, Trafford, Esteve and Brownhill we should be pushing for the title. Back to Turf on Saturday, hopefully back at top at end of weekend. Horse fiddlers are going to crumble as always.
Have to disagree since everyone knew Pompey was going to struggle. Luton on the other hand who are clear promotion favourites needed this result and probably for Rob Edward’s job.
Leeds tended to perform better against the clubs at the top end of the table last season.. could be said they’re ironically more likely to drop points on the coming fixtures.
Leeds is very significant, if Leeds had lost to SU, the top 6 could have looked different and the confidence at Leeds with their first choice midfield out, it could have become very dodgy Outside of my own club, I'd argue Cardiff, coz under bulut this season they were rubbish, riza has turned them around very significantly imo, Portsmouths win will be significant if they can follow it up with a couple more, otherwise just 1 win ain't gonna change much for them
It's all falling apart at my beloved Boro. Maybe the best attacking XG, but when your two goal scorers, the number 9/10 have one goal, a penalty, with a combined 20 games between them, well, thats lunacy from Carrick. Azaz and Latte Lath need to be dropped.
Leeds fan who expected to beat the blunts but performance of the week has to be Cardiff not only for the 5 goals without reply but it drags Plymouth back into the relegation picture .
yeah. Its quite a useful stat. It’s not the be all and end all, but it can be quite telling of what teams create the best quality chances. Especially when used over long periods of time, it can help paint a bigger picture of how many good chances a team can create

Luton was the biggest win because it was a derby day so we had to win it so Edwards didn’t go under more pressure

Cardiff , Portsmouth , Leicester, Everton, Brighton many strong and a bit unexpected wins yesterday.
Agree with you Ben - that Pompey result has massive implications at the bottom. Where has the Cifuentes magic gone?
Burnleys next 8 games are favourable to get results so being Top at this stage is encouraging

Yes Benny boy!! Have to say the Cardiff win. Massive result for them

Heyup Ben, although it was a big win for Leeds against a promotion rival, I thought the bigest was Cardiff, it may just kickstart their season.
Burnley, Sheff U, Sunderland all need to play the rest of the top 6. Leeds have done so already.
Burnley have already played Sunderland and Leeds, won at Leeds and lost at Sunderland
@@domtownley1670still not 100% sold on Burnley not beaten many in top half and the leeds game any other day could of been a heavy loss.
@@chrisjames5188coulda woulda shoulda 3 points at Leeds UTC
Been saying that about pompey and the bottom half 😊
It's not the top teams that Leeds struggle with.
The biggest wins in order of significance / importance:
1. Portsmouth
2. Leeds
3. Bristol City
4. Sunderland

The bookmakers.
Great vid as usual but don't think bottom of league losing is some great result
Have to disagree since everyone knew Pompey was going to struggle. Luton on the other hand who are clear promotion favourites needed this result and probably for Rob Edward’s job.
Then they go to Luton on Wednesday

Nevermind you always turn into prime Barcelona when you play Leeds
@@Donjames-fl2yd Thats were that phrase comes from "Typical Boro". Knowing us we will probably beat Sheffield United and Norwich this week.
Bluuuuubirds win this one
Anyone else notice when Arsenal lose, Sheff U lose & visa versa.. Wierd 😂

Agree mate. Mot
Burnley beat leeds and av played Sunderland and Blackburn…🤷♂️
Are leeds the only side they've beat in the top half? They were quite fortunate in that game too I remember.
@@chrisjames5188on your patch as well, yeh fortunate.
@glenoby only chance I remember Burnley having come from a leeds player slipping and falling over, yeah fortunate.
@@chrisjames5188you must have forgot the 7 other shots. Flemming was close to scoring early
@matthew266 I remember that soft header that went about 5 feet wide of the post, yeah. Don't remember anything of any real threat.
Am I the only person who doesn't understand ''expected goals'' and also doesn't WANT to? Unnecessary fabricated cobblers.
