Truly, if the player fought against Chara at the end of a genocide route, they wouldn’t deserve to win.
"It's me, Chara." Truly unsettling, in a mixture of childlike glee, suicidal tendencies, and brutally murderous impulses. This isn't a fight you're winning, not at all. This is just a bit of theatrics for getting this far before the brutally bitter end. There's no escaping now - as we see in the end, as they slowly approach, the true nature twisting their form. Once again, you do these dark and malicious themes so brilliantly well...! (And hey - next theme is certainly going to be very, very interesting...)

I can safely say this is one hell of an intimidating song! If I were to encounter a boss with this theme, a force meant to intimidate and stop senseless evil in its tracks? I think I'd be too fearful to persevere, much as most people who run the Genocide Route. This is an amazing track that certainly induces panic, and I love it! Amazing content as always from Desolo, and as usual I'll continue to love the stuff you come out with.

As in the song? I think it's an arrangement of various existing themes in the game but distorted and discombobulated to give off the feeling that you are fighting a losing battle against an anomaly in the system that you created by making horrible decisions.

That was so good!! I love the chaos, it really feels like the song is breaking down under attack. So many sounds in this but you mixed it to give them the space they need. Listening again and catching more musical references to other Undertale songs. Feels like the game crashing into itself in those moments. Also liked the laugh sounding synth at the end. Is this an original composition outside of the few musical references? Again this is so good, a great 2am listen.

I don't know if this is intentional, but a lot of the piano-like instruments in this track sound like typical Windows error message sounds! Adds quite nicely to the 4th-wall breaking Chara likes doing
Megalomania- (meɡələˈmānēə) noun. "obsession with the exercise of power, especially in the domination of others" An obvious correlation to the Fallen, with you awakening it's power, it has become in a way out of your control, an induvial entity that lusts for power and domination. This need for dominance is shown as they take over your control of the game, ruining the game entirely and tainting the future Pacifist runs. A crystal clear example of the definition listed above. However, the second definition is what follows: "A delusion about one's own power or importance". Remember what they said when you try to reboot the game. "You think you are above consequences." Us, the player, the Anomaly as Bone Fucker would call it, to the Fallen, is one who thinks they cannot deserve punishment. That these actions have no consequences. And in the end, they're right. They have no power to stop us from cleaning the game entirely, erasing all of it back to point zero. By doing this, we believe nothing can hurt us, we are untouchable from this game. Why should I pay the price of a bad game when I can just fix it then and there? In the end, the Fallen is right. Those who attempt to erase the effects of a Genocide run do it for a collection of reasons, maybe they feel bad, maybe they just want to enjoy the game without the bad ending, maybe they just want to laugh and prove the Fallen wrong, maybe none of that. What matters is by doing so they throw away the badge of dishonor they are given to them. They deny that they did the wrong thing, that they don't deserve to had this on their game. Yet. They are the ones who started it, after all. They are the ones who believe they are so important. By laughing at the Fallen and escaping their influence, they think they have more power, that they have importance. Sound familiar? Undertale is a masterpiece. (by the way this doesn't apply to everyone, obviously, I just like making stories [when i feel like it])

That was so good!! I love the chaos, it really feels like the song is breaking down under attack. So many sounds in this but you mixed it to give them the space they need.
Listening again and catching more musical references to other Undertale songs. Feels like the game crashing into itself in those moments.

I don't know if this is intentional, but a lot of the piano-like instruments in this track sound like typical Windows error message sounds! Adds quite nicely to the 4th-wall breaking Chara likes doing

An obvious correlation to the Fallen, with you awakening it's power, it has become in a way out of your control, an induvial entity that lusts for power and domination. This need for dominance is shown as they take over your control of the game, ruining the game entirely and tainting the future Pacifist runs. A crystal clear example of the definition listed above.
However, the second definition is what follows: "A delusion about one's own power or importance".
Remember what they said when you try to reboot the game.
"You think you are above consequences."
Us, the player, the Anomaly as Bone Fucker would call it, to the Fallen, is one who thinks they cannot deserve punishment. That these actions have no consequences. And in the end, they're right. They have no power to stop us from cleaning the game entirely, erasing all of it back to point zero. By doing this, we believe nothing can hurt us, we are untouchable from this game. Why should I pay the price of a bad game when I can just fix it then and there? In the end, the Fallen is right. Those who attempt to erase the effects of a Genocide run do it for a collection of reasons, maybe they feel bad, maybe they just want to enjoy the game without the bad ending, maybe they just want to laugh and prove the Fallen wrong, maybe none of that. What matters is by doing so they throw away the badge of dishonor they are given to them. They deny that they did the wrong thing, that they don't deserve to had this on their game.
Yet. They are the ones who started it, after all. They are the ones who believe they are so important. By laughing at the Fallen and escaping their influence, they think they have more power, that they have importance. Sound familiar?
Undertale is a masterpiece.
