Now that the show is over I'm so happy to have seen Buddy Daddies and how it ended today. I love Rei, Kazuki, and Miri and their character development through the end. I'm going to miss them and hope there will be an OVA. 😭😭

It's not about about them being copies it's about it being similar and right after spy x family.and it's so common when popular stuff come out people rush to capitalize on it with copycats that's why it is very hard for people to trust shows that come with a similar plot at the very exact time.

I would argue this is on par with spy x family as an anime. Personally this one's a little more mature to me (darker themes) and I like that. Stylistically quite different but similar premise. The humour is great and the characters are likeable. 10/10 recommend if you have a soft spot for men with hearts of gold and a cheeky little girl who deserves parents that care ❤️

I just binge watched it this morning and DEFINITELY the best 12 episode anime I have ever seen. Ep 10/11 had me nearly crying. It was such a wholesome, funny, amazing show.
Just started watching the anime and when I hearn Ayase's voice I was so excited and happy! I hadn't listened to that song of his, but realizing that it was his voice really made me happy. It's such a nice song.. as expected from Ayase.
I’m sad it’s ended, but every episode was wholesome and I enjoyed every moment between Kazuki, Rei and Miri. Just like in Spy x Family, I enjoyed every moment between Loid, Yor and Anya😊

While I'd love new content and have more of the wholesome trio... Some things know best to end at the right time, and this series knew that. They had a theme, a cast of characters, and a story to tell, and they did that. I was super satisfied and I'm happy with how it ended. We don't need to see every moment to know that they're happy.
Gotta say, this was my absolute favourite anime, but I don't think I would want a season 2? They wrapped it up so perfectly, I'm just concerned that'd be ruined ^^' I reckon a movie would be fantastic, because that way it could be like a brief return of their old life, like an old problem was brought back up while Miri is a teenager, but they sort it out and can go back to their life... I feel like another season would be unnecessarily dragging it out, but that's just what I think
