I like how they sometimes peck at the food so aggressively, like they are that excited by it. Very adorable.
The sparrows I feed make a huge mess doing that. I put the seeds in a tub and they get all over the ground from them doing cute aggressive pecking thing.

Hellow, I"m from FRANCE,
I found a sparrow with a broken leg, he lost with a cat!
I d"ont know if it his the cat who hurt him, because the
cat came to drop him in the house and deposited
near his food without doing anything to him !
I treated him and fed him every ten minute like his
mother when She goes to get food! Now h"es grown
up, he"s two months old and come on my shoulder ,
when I tell him come, he comes, heat, he heats !
These birds undertand a lot of words, it"s crazy !!!!!
Two months ago , I gave pathé for smal sparrows,
worms of dried, millet in branches , what to give him now ,
he has grown , he has to move on to another food ??????
Can you help me, the rice , You buy everything done,where
it is you who prepare it , that eats these birds as seeds !
I"m afraid to give to big seeds that would not be for these
birds ! What are the foods that I could give ?????
