Not really. The train in GTA 5 isn’t on flat ground there’s always bumps and rocks around. Cars will just flip and crash over rocks and hills chasing it. I will try maybe and see one day but I don’t think it would work. Also the NPCs are a bit dumber in GTA 5 they would just drive the car into the train all the time lol.
