I love that she wears a beautiful suit. She's all business and lets her playing shine. She doesn't need to wear tight short dresses with stilettos to add to her performance. So professional.
Indeed. A lot of female pianists like to wear sexy outfits and high heels as to compensate for their lack of talent... Except for Yuja Wang. She's possibly the best female pianist in the world, and she dresses sexy just for the fun of it 😁
Continues to astonish with her clarity, taste, imagination and beautifully varied sound. And she has the power along with that masterful technique. Wonderful ensemble, almost unheard of on a live concerto.
wow !!!! I dont often listen to this concerto but now ... I can just picture Tchaïkovski up in heaven looking down thinking who is this phenomonon playing ! and I wrote this !?!
Chapeau! Her talent is rare like a black pearl ... Mariam moves me like a few performers. I am delighted and I thank heaven for such a great gift ... Martha Argerich finally has a worthy heir ... There is no comparison with any other female performer ... (not even male!). Brava, good, good
Khakia is good to listen to if you don’t know it’s her playing. Watching her is a bit like watching Marilyn Monroe on the piano stool ... off putting to say the least
Nice to see a young pianist who lets the music do the talking and not antics at the keyboard. Too many nose wipers on keyboards, orgasmic facial expressions and basic poor acting on the piano stool these days. Bravo young lady
No expert but unfortunately M tried too hard in places going way too fast and loosing the tempo, fingering and the orchestra! M too tight not playing freely!
Disagree with you on that, didn’t find this tempo off putting at all. Compare it with Stephen Houghs interpretation and it’s snail pace. It was written as a show piece for the piano and that’s how she performs it. If the sound recording was better the piano wouldn’t sound as tinny and therefore the speed and detail would come through
One of the greatest pianists in the world.

The Composer must be turning in his grave.
Mariam you are fantastic, sublime I can't add more words

absolutely fabulous!
Very true!!
What a pianist... I love every second
Fabulous! A poet and a powerhouse. She is as much fun to watch as to hear.
The vibrant youthfulness reminds me of that American pianist who rocked Moscow in the 1950s.
Van Cliburn!
Total commitment to the cause. This pianist takes no prisoners!!! A truly refreshing performance.
Passionate committed playing. Look forward to more from her. Wish the sound quality matched the playing
Impressive performance of both orchestra and Mariam. You played with fire and passion in your soul :-)
Just awesome! This energy and precision....impressive! Thank you
Terrific playing Mariam !
How can you NOT love her???

Was just thinking the next Martha in the making, a huge responsibility to fill but she’s up to it
Passion, power, personality.
I understand why she picked a pantsuit not a dress.
Yes, reminded me of Aurore Dupin had Dupin been a pianist rather than a novelist.
What a wonderful dynamic performance from both Mariam and the orchestra - Such a pleasure to listen to... Thank you...
No words! Bravo!!
My all-time favourite piece of music with my new-found favourite pianist
Wow - as good as Gilels or Rubinstein - Brava Mariam!
Great 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Maravilhosa!
very great artist
I really love this concerto. Your playing is fantastic. Thank you
utterly riveting - incandescent
Merci !
you know ... some folks talk about "too much movement"... in her case... in my humble opinion... IT WORKS!!!!
Thank you
Astonishing performance !!! Deserves better audio ! Other than that, Gorgeous !
Bravo
So there's not only Khatia Buniatishvili...
Marianna Galides yes ... we have this kind of women
Right. But Khatia never lets you forget that her "bravissima" takes a hyphen after the third letter.
She's... Not so good 😅
Khakia is good to listen to if you don’t know it’s her playing. Watching her is a bit like watching Marilyn Monroe on the piano stool ... off putting to say the least
Nino Gevatze! Even when I Love KHATIA! And I Love Yuja! And I Love Lisitsa!

A masterful performance, best since Van Cliburn! (But I disagree with Cheryl about the suit!)
She can wear anything she likes with her figure,I think?

Unfortunately, the tempo is unnecessarily too high.
Yes, I cannot listen so fast either.

I don’t much like the tone of that piano.
