I bought one of these Eagle Claw poles but have yet to use it. I have used the bobber stops for many years. The one thing that I would suggest using Super Glue or that UV Glue to cement them to the main line; they can have a tendency to move, especially when using braid. And what about the rule of 1½ times the length of the dodger for the leader length? And thank you, this is probably the best Kokanee "how-to" that I've seen. Well done sir! 😊
Thank you... The leader length dodger ratio is a rule of thumb. At the end of the day you will find that in all different bodies of water, the fish respond differently, so there is no one rule. Some area's I fish leaders as long as 13" other area's as short as 9" ;-)
