Truly incredible. I keep coming back to watch this and I still can’t wrap my head around how much time and effort and love was poured into this. So much attention to small details, it is definitely the most beautiful music video I have ever seen and it fits the song so well.
As someone who comes from an abusive, and alcoholic family, I cannot even begin to describe how much this song means to me. In my childhood I developed a lot of narcissistic tendencies just to survive and now whenever shit hits the fan, I'll have to consciously fight against the urge to turn into a shit person. I'm so much better than my parents were, but it's hard to remember and make into a reality.

Ok so this is officially the best stop motion animation since Tools "Sober" not to mention this song is incredibly heavy.. Kalandra is literally so under rated here in the US.. Been one of my favorite bands for years... I hope their label wakes up and promotes them here in the US..
I don't know if you're into this style, but there's also A Different World, from Korn, which has a stop motion animation (at least it is in the style, I don't know if it's a real one but I guess so). 😉
I agree, there's really few artists and bands nowadays that connect directly with the soul like Kalandra can. In my opinion, best band in the world, no competition. There's always so much to get from their music. We really need to spread the word her in the US so they can start touring over here.

I don't like the fact the yellow guy left the person that is fighting her demons. It is the truth the person that suffers always stays alone and abondoned cause someone healthy does not understand and cannot immagine what the other person is going through. It is easier just leave the person that needs help and support the most.

This is literally my life story. I'm the blue girl, self-isolated in this tiny house. The yellow one is my soulmate, coming to say hi, and while I try to stop him to enter my house, he comes in anyway to share a meal and force me out of my loneliness. There are portrays of "demons" on the walls, depicting my loved ones, and they appear like being enemies to me, only symbolizing the guilt I feel for having betrayed them. They make me unable to speak and move - like my guilt, caused by the traumas "they" (my agressors) inflicted on me. Then, yellow one leave the house, not to abandon me, but to force me to confront my inner demons and to free myself. It's why I descend into the darkness - the basement - running from the guilt/traumas, fighting them until I find this tiny baby - the baby I wish I'll have with my yellow one soon. Baby and me are staring at ourselves, both "waking up" and he gives me the strength to break the wall, and escape from the dark lonely house, towards light and freedom. Thanks for that, Kalandra. It's why you're one of my favorite bands ever. Blessed be

Kudos to the whole band. The only way to bring out any kind of situations you might have found yourself in, is to talk. And talk through this song has a healing effect. One also has been mindful of the fact that children do not talk but they see and they remember. It remains to get seen how they turn this out, positive or bad? My hope is that we all focus on positive as that is only way to heal yourself. As a deaf child I was bullied a lot and had a lot of difficulties at school. But I decided that just because of that I would not become like those bullies. So, thank you band for telling us this story.❤

I love how he finds his way back to the light and accepts himself. His house is no longer falling apart and he even got new colours :) very cool! Great details. I also loved how his reflection in the mirror was distorted as he looked at himself; just like our own self views are often distorted when we have unhealed trauma.

Also now realized that the yellow thing on the mouth is "saying the same thing" their relative said, I thought it's shutting the mouth before, but it makes sense now. Been listening to it for a while, and only now heard the part of back vocals in the field. Also now realized that the yellow thing on the mouth is "saying the same thing" their relative said, I thought it's shutting the mouth before, but it makes sense now. It's really well made and the song is great.
