While stealing abandoned ships does work, there is often a moment when you won't be able to use it anymore, risky to try to do missions with a stolen ship. It might be that the game just bugged out at that point to though, one can never be certain. At least you got to see how the Titan flies and what you can put inside of it. The station you were at (as someone else mentioned) is a damaged/destroyed station so no gravity outside for your ship, they are just floating they don't actually land so turning the engines off is a good move. Also when trying to deliver that package, there was an elevator shaft to traverse down right where you seen that place marker, you needed to EVA down that shift to the next level to find the location to place that package. Still enjoying your learning experience. A new player really has to pay attention to everything around them to navigate, Star Citizen missions aren't necessarily straight forward, they make you traverse problems to finish them. I like that fact you've figured out killing the bad guys with your ship and then looting them to get things you want or need. It's sort of cumbersome to figure out but worth it because this is also a big sandbox game, it's not necessarily a linear game. You, the player, get to decide how you want to do or try to complete things. Have fun my man. Just remember that the highs of the game are also followed by the lows of the bugs, the joys of playing a game that is still in it's Alpha phase, so frustrating, particularly after it was going so well, LOL!!!
In case it isn't clear, the Covalex station you tried landing at has experienced an accidental explosion before, and is completely non operational. This means no exterior doors that open, and not gravity to let you land on the pads. This is also why the entrance to the station is through a blown out window panel above the landing pads.
lol I love this man's energy! I would turn off the engine when landing to keep the ship from lifting off on its own. And there are two red pens unfortunately: a medpen for health and a decon pen for decontamination (even though radiation sickness isn't even in the gam yet)
I really celebrate your adventures! You should get a backpack for loot tours. It is even better if you put on heavy armor, then you can also carry a larger backpack. You can also change your running speed with the mouse wheel. Another tip, get a sniper rifle, you can usually find them in the red loot boxes, especially often in bunker missions and you should definitely get into the habit of turning off the engins in the ship when you get off. You can leave the power on, but the engines should be off. Press L to turn the lights on the ship on and off and T on the armor
Yeah I started using a backpack, sorry my episodes are a bit in delay because real life 🥲 but I haven’t tried the sniper, I’m worried it’ll be slow from ADS to evade shots at me, I’ll start turning the engine off tho all my ships keep moving when I get out 🤣🤣
Did you know that you can save your camera setting/angles in presets by holding down F4 and holding down a numpad number key you want to assign the preset to. It will save the current camera setting to that keypad number as preset and you can activate the preset by holding F4 and tapping the number you stored as a preset. This allows you to save up to 9 presents per ship and also for your character. Very handy for cinematics.
The dropoff for the box was probably down the elevator shaft, weird that it gave you the “place” icon in a random hallway. The Avenger Titan is so much better than the Mustang.

Did you know, that you don't have to die in space.... you just exit to main menu, and spawn back on a last visited spacestation. Will have to claim the ship do, so any loot would be gone.
if your character move slow while you hold cargo and move. drop box and keep tractor beam in your hand and scroll wheel up few times. and then when you pick box up again you should move way faster....
I generally avoid multi-box delivery missions, because of the many ways they can bug out. If even one box bugs out, the entire mission is uncompletable. Maybe try some missions in the investigation category next? They are many and varied, but depend on which planet you are near. You get missions of different types and destinations based on where you are. Try going to Microtech and see what missions pop up.

There is one specific mission around Crusader that actually sends you to the Covalex station to investigate why it was destroyed. It'sa big and involved mission, unlikely to bug out, so keep an eye out for it. It's called 'PI wanted'.
@38:00 that terminal is part of a "solve this mystery" mission that isn't active right now. There were a couple of puzzle/mystery missions that were taken out around the time they remove Port Olisar from the game; some of the clues you needed could only be found on PO.

The main two purposes is (1) to get new players used to flying their ships, interacting with items, that sort of thing and (2) more long term players will use them for exploration and looting, since you're sent to random outposts some times. Those are the two reason most people seem to give for doing box missions, but I am sure there are people who just enjoy it as a chill grind tthey can do
Wait for IAE next week before you buy ships. It's so easy to get enough in game for a Titan , and next week you'll be able to rent any ship for 0 credits at the Expo Hall in New Babbage.

You have some websites that show the sale value of ores, and where they sell. Laranite, Taranite, Agricium sell well. Drugs are more profitable but dangerous to sell (illegal everywhere but some PvP hotspots)
A good way for you to get money when IAE starts, rent a decent fighter and go do the save stanton missions, they give good money, i have a connie andromeda and shes tanky enough to make up for my lack of flying skills 😂

The 9800x3d is out, so the 7800x3d may get a price drop, probably better to check that before getting a 5800x3d. Apparently x3d is the big must for SC, I'm considering upgrading myself for xmas.
I have a 5800x3d with 64gb of ram and a 7900xtx, the game runs fairly well, but performance is gonna be dependent on whats going on around you and server health. It's for this reason I'm not upgrading to am5, I don't see the point untill CIG do some optimising.
Also you mentioned wanting to do cinematic shots earlier in the video? I used this the video linked below to help me figure out SC's in game camera and how to save angles. Delivery missions are broken as hell. I'd skip them for now. And no need to land in space. Just stop and jump out of the ship. )) When a ship is stuck might try turning stuff on and off or switch flight modes. And please don't kill yourself. If you go back to menu and log back in you'll spawn at a spacestation or city again with all your gear on.
Setting settings to high to "offload" (???) to the GPU? Sorry, it simply does not work that way. If you increase settings, you are not only increasing GPU usage but also CPU usage and memory usage... simply compounding the problem!

DEFINITELY get the 7800x3d, 32GB of RAM is enough! If your gpu needs an upgrade the 4080super or 7900xtx is a great choice!
He just got 64gb of ddr4 ram, so am5 doesn’t make much sense

32 Gigs is good enough. But having 64 is never a bad idea :).
It’s good enough if you don’t do other things while playing. So for streaming/recording 64gb aren’t a bad idea

The NPC's can be knocked out just like players, so you don't necessarily kill people... they might just be KO!
On some mmos I play low settings end up tasking my cpu and high settings use the gpu I was hoping this would be the same 🥲
