Laung gawacha (the song about the nose pin) is a very famous Punjabi folk song that celebrates a rural love story which is why the lyrics refer to the woman coming to meet her beloved with the excuse of bringing roti (a flatbread in the subcontinent) and sings about the nose-pin she lost during the course of the meeting. A lot of South Asian folk songs are centred on simple concepts and metaphors that signify much deeper ideas such as love and divinity in their various forms and dimensions. Since rural life tends to be more simple and less materialistic, the objects and expressions mentioned within folk songs often tend to reflect that simple way of life. Hope that helps.

Nose pin is a piece of jewellery.
Some people (mostly women) get their nostrils pierced and the nose pin which is like a small stud is then worn by these women in some cultures specially in south eastern countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc.

Sir, greetings from Pakistan. What a wonderful and pleasant surprise? Two coke studio songs back to back. You have made my day. This one is a coke studio classic. We are extremely grateful to you for increasing the weekly doze of coke studio. May God Almighty shower yourself with all His blessings.
Nose pin is one of several types of jewelry worn by girls/ladies here in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh region. It has been part of tradition in many areas here. Side of nose is pierced and nose-pin in pure gold, silver or artificial jewelry is inserted. It's just like piercing for ear rings / ear pins. Looks beautiful on women.
I am really happy today. Sir, great work with great understanding and care of your subsribers.
Best wishes for the success of your channel.
    Regards

About the nose pin, it doesnt have any specific meaning behind it, it was just a kind of a Hook of the song, which sounds nice.
As with most of the older Coke studio songs, there are actually two songs, Baliay and Laung Gawacha, mashed up. Laung gawacha is, if I am not wrong a folk song, and has been covered a lot by different singers in last 50 years, hence the traditional tune in the part.

The female part is a separate song, "Laung gawacha" which is a rendition of Punjabi folk song, of which there must be 100s of renditions, if not thousands, in last 70 years from Pakistan and India. The nosepin part is mostly the catchy phrase, as per knowledge.
