Great video. Just don't like people calling out Vitalik on false marketing to pump price........He was the only one in 2017 that clearly said that the market cap was not earned. That the price was getting past the technology at the time. I am a guy that help bags and never sold for years. Vitalik was the only person that said prices were over valued. Respect! Yes, ETH is all over the place still, but excited in coming years.
What about getting this available in Canada??? 🇨🇦

Jack, thank you for helping to make up my mind on Etherium. I have suspected that Vitalic was a two faced S.. I am going to convert my 3+
eth to bitcoin today. I am sorry that I did not find strike sooner. The commissions and spread on my purchases with coinbase have been substantial. I was orange pilled last Oct and am a crab in the bitcoin ecosystem.

I'm a bitcoin bull, but it should be noted that BTC and ETH are both considered assets by the SEC. Not securities. ICOs are considered securities.

Can Strike take an automatic SSA payment and covert %-wise to Bitcoin?

Why not create a second layer bitcoin protocol for issuing bitcoin-tethered coins at an individual level? Translation: Individuals become their own central banker. Meaning: If you own 1 bitcoin, you can issue to yourself currency backed by your bitcoin at a fixed reserve rate. So for example lets say 50,000 to 1. Once you've issued currency to yourself your bitcoin is locked in reserve and the only way you can unlock for sale or transfer is to decommission coins for it. Your tethered coins meanwhile can be used as day to day currency - no bank necessary. Or rather, you become your own bank. The protocol and decentralized software keeps track of all the bookkeeping. You don't need to start off owning bitcoin because tethered coins circulate freely as currency and everyone will have them in lieu of actual bitcoin.

@@bahmak2003 Nobody forcing to use anything unless it's a monopoly. When someone claims its has a method to instantly transfer money globally, and says its service is free, but it's not free, didn't you compare the cost, if you had to pay it?

Jack, I just bought $200 using Strike (via Fold) for an Amazon gift card. Not only did I not get cash back, I was charged $200.47 for using Lightning. What gives?
Why are you asking the founder of Strike about something that Fold is responsible for?

like the guys get up and go. surely it makes a margin on the spread of bitcoin to fina. fina to bitcoin, send overseas, convert back to fina. Still dont see how this will pass KYC and AML requirements. In my country, if a bank account is opened by a US Citizen, I basically have to know if they scrunch or folds when taking a shit. Can ses this getting crushed by regulators if it grows. the fact is has 'no tax implications' sounds like if it becomes any of size, it will be crushed.
