If only one could get wood like this in Germany... So beautiful, there's no better material than wood if you ask me. So many types and so widely applicable. Great work!
This is really a great build video. The screwed blocks and wedges are not intuitive for newcomers to the craft, so this was fascinating to watch. Well done.
Beautifully understated, simple and elegant. Should make a great piece for a quasi contemporary flat or home. Love your seemingly calm demeanor concerning recognizing and solving problems. Those traits are a big asset for anyone making one of a kind or prototypes.
INCREDIBLE LOOK, absolutely beautiful wood- good choice. I really love the visual appeal of the whole table, and I normally don't care much for metal bases but this is so elegant. Great work. Subbed
That was incredibly informative and well made. I have a client that wants me to make a herringbone dining table and I was really unsure about doing it. So thank you for this.
That is some beautiful wood. I use dimensional lumber and palletwood for most of my projects like adirondack chairs, saw horse etc (beginner projects). Once I get better I want to get nice hard wood and make something for inside the house.
Very slick! I love the wood and like your approach to limited materials. I like what you said about backfilling, my last table had some issues and I back filled, I now will back fill and seal the whole piece, you really have one or two opportunities to do this on the bottom side and it keeps the piece more stable throughout its lifetime so its worth it.
Nice, you gave me some ideas with your wedges instead of clamps! Thats a very good way to squeeze together too big workpieces or when you not have enough clamps ^^
We always see just a piece of furniture rather than the time, thinking and effort it took to bring something to fruition.
Just wonderful process and a magnificent result. I really enjoyed seeing your problem-solving approach. Thank you.
Beautiful table top
I didn't think it was going to turn out that great but right at the end it shocked me. Great build

Larché Jacques Clarel EXACTLY what I was saying too! When that word grain started popping. Just beautiful.
Larché Jacques Clarel . Don't precut ends, leave them square for clamping, then cut off.
Truly beautiful
Looks great! 👌
Nice work mate. 'Send out for sanding?' that sounds like a great idea...
Thanks, I take all my table tops to local furniture maker that has a wide belt sander. It gets the tops perfectly flat and smooth, saves so much time.
Nice work.
