Bold of you to assume I can tell when my opponent is about to throw me
Might be a joke but essentially, whenever they are in a state of major advantage, like after a knockdown or when you block a jump attack. In those cases, throws are quite likely
Idk why but watching Dee Jay coming out of nowhere to throw Ken mid-taunt was hilarious 😂
LOL IKR
Love the small bite videos like that, keep them coming
Short and to the point, good job.
These are great.
These vids really help explain the game better than I can to my friends. Gonna keep this one pocketed for now, cheers 🍻
Succinct and useful. Well done.
worth mentioning that you can also delay anything after blocking, including everything from jabs to jumps to invincible reversals. mixing up these options prevents you from losing to a shimmy every time you delay tech.
This is one of the most important concepts for intermediate players.
what i find hard about delay tech is timing the random attacks in a block string, like some characters seem to be able to land 2 hits and still throw after so theres 3 opportunities for them to throw, if they go for a bigger button like a medium the timing throws me off
i think you can delay tech after every hit in a blockstring
Enchanting and achievable. Nice work Arya
I can't do it. Everytime I do it I get grabbed or hit. I don't understand. Delay it by a bit. Ok? What is a bit?
If you’re getting hit or grabbed, that means you’re teching too late. If you’re getting counterhit, then you’re teching too early.
The best way to practice the timing is to go to training mode and make two recordings: one of the CPU sweeping you and then grabbing you on wake-up, and one of them sweeping you and hitting you with medium punch on wake-up. Set it so that it randomly cycles through those two states and try to find the timing that way.
trying to connect combos theirs seems to be a delay as well its annoying on sf6 and yes i am a skilled player ..in past street fighters i easily landed combos
