    I would argue that ever b4 Buhari came to power, we already lacked any structural guardrails in governance, we didn't(& still don't) have a culture of transparency & accountability to & for the people.
    To work for the govt. is to go on a money hunt - we've been that ship destined to sink for the longest time. We're stuck with looking for a cult like personality to come solve the problems from the top - delusional if you ask me. We are over-centralized but local govt must lead the way in accountability, & against tribalism etc - rather sad to see Nigerians fighting for racial justice abroad then come back home to exploit tribalism for riches!!!!

    Very good analysis. You're right. The rot is deep and the cure will require a major surgical operation. Nigeria is structurally flawed and unworkable as it is currently. Nigeria is not even close to being a federation no matter what the pundits would want us to believe. Any attempt to address the economic and social maladies plaguing the nation without first fixing the structural basis would be futile.

    Nice video. I just think that the country is getting worse because of two things: greediness and wickedness. Most of the leaders are intentionally keeping the people poor through bad policies and the refusal to provide necessary infrastructures because poverty is a tool that keeps the people loyal to them and keeping them in power. And many people out of poverty and lack of choice, will do anything just to get bread, even if it includes killing his future. It’s a sad situation and I’m afraid there’s no hope it will get better soon

    • @realjudebela
      @realjudebela  5 місяців тому +1
