Your the strongest man I have ever seen because whatever shots life throws at you, your still getting up💪🏽 I’m so glad you’re available taking care of you daughter 💯you are a great man Justin!💪🏽💯🔧🫡
First.... Hang in there Justin & don't worry about what other ppl say, think or do. It doesn't matter!. That's the 1 good thing about gettin' old, you finally learn that! You do you! Peace. 🙏
As veterans, it’s inherent that we have issues when it comes to relationships and finding the right words at the right time.. I have been battling the same shit since I separated.
Justin, I wish you all the best in your endeavors. I believe you'll find the right option for you and your family, don't lose faith brother! Many blessings!
I've enjoyed seeing your content again man. I started following you years ago and was getting into a bunch of tool stuff. Even tried starting my own DIY channel. But then that kinda faded and I ended up unsubbing a bunch of tool channels. So it's actually been really fun seeing some tool content again. Love the HF and TSC walkthroughs and stuff.
Ignore the negativity...do whats best for you and your family...sure you'll figure it out..were here watching along for the ride...its social media... always gonna have that scope on you
Great to see you back man, been meaning to say. Ive always enjoyed your videos, automotive content or not. You always keep it real and humble. Cheers dude
Justin, you're an inspiration to those of us who don't have the guts to get out of a job we don't like and follow our dreams. People that make these comments are jealous. Keep on finding your way and you'll get there. Love and trust your reviews! See you in the next video!
Hey Dude on the couch!! Fellow disabled vet here. 80% ptsd/anxiety amoung others. If you are willing to consider relocating for a better life for you and your family I have something for you. At least 35hr starting 40 in one year, no tools required all provided, 2 weeks off, medical, Christmas bonuses ect. Not a recruiter I work for them myself. Just one vet trying to help another. Reach out if you wanna talk. I want to see you and your family get to where you want in life.
Haters will be haters? Does sound familiar? Keep going forward. I'm glad that your here. YOu have a lot of subcriber tha care for you. In the good, bad and ugly. God Bless Justin.
Hopefully things turn out at the dealer. I do highly recommend fleet repair as the pay for a diesel mechanic is typically more than automotive. Also in regards to your Matco box, you don’t necessarily need a tow truck. I have taken mine (same 72” Matco 4s) to 3 different shops, and currently in my garage, all taken by uhaul.
Only thing I’m lacking is some man powered to push it up into the U-Haul. Otherwise it’s just my wife and I that makes it more of a challenge which is why I’ve used a tow truck.
You can temporarily attach a harbor freight power winch to a uhaul trailer using u-bolts and power it with a battery booster. I did this, and another time I even screwed the winch to the floor of a Penske truck. 😂 You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.
Brotha...fuck these keyboard warriors...you have been through alot served our country and shared alot of your emotions with us and pulled yourself through it all and take care care of your family through it all.....much respect
Your a real dude just like the rest of us..most pretend their perfect..the fact your open is why you have so many fans..chin up big dog you got this shit..god bless you and yours.
Justin ur good bro, u got ur family sheltered, clothed and fed. People on the internet say shit to people they would never say in real life. As far as ur financials go, that responsibility falls on u and ur wife and nobody has the right to say shit unless they wanna pitch in if they care so much. Stay encouraged bro!
Majority of us are here because we found the channel searching for SOMETHING INFORMATIVE! ME I've been subbed years MANY! I was searching welding stuff.i liked the hunt for 1 and conversation about them. Then i believe you & your old man made a weld table , or got 1 from a friend. The rest is history! Your personality, and brutal HONESTY is what captivated us! I remember them wild live stream. I remember that clown sturghill spelled wrong. I missed your content when you were gone, follow your heart, bro, it took me 60 years to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, the only one that matters is the man in the mirror, bro
We missed you while you were gone. It takes a serious amount of humility to come forward and lay it all down in front of everybody. You've got my vote, brother.I think you're a good man. I can speak with you about the oil field. I have been in around the oil field since two thousand eight. The time is not right to go back yet. Keep hustlin, brother. We are pulling for you.
Justin, My husband has followed your channel since the early days and I personally think your channel is great! Ignore the negative comments and keep doing you👍
Man, doesn't matter what you do or say somebody's gonna have negative shit to say. I only made it about 8 years wrenching in a dealer, people that's never done it dont understand the stress that jobs brings. Best decision I ever made was to leave the dealer and move on from the automotive world. I miss it somedays but I'm burnt out! Don't blame you for switching careers just did almost 3 years ago myself.
Hey Justin. You mentioned going to the oil field of West Texas (Midland/Odessa). If you're going to go through with it, keep your finances in check. Seen plenty of new hires buy a brand new lifted truck the moment they get hired on only to lose it when crude drops in price and they get laid off. It's an extremely cyclical industry. Also, you will be working all the time; you live to work. Said guys who bought a new lifted truck will never have the time to drive it because they're always out on location working. You might never get to go home for the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) because everyone wants it off. You'll probably miss important events (kids birthdays, graduations, etc) because it lands on your rotation. So keep that in mind. Every person who is married and works in the oilfield either 1. has a spouse who understands the lifestyle, 2. works in the industry themselves, or 3. won't be married for much longer. If it helps, try looking in Bakersfield/Kern County for O&G jobs to minimize the distance. I do not know how it is after 2016's crash though. O&G field work generally doesn't pay what it used to (pre-2016), but it's still beats working minimum wage at a Walmart. See if they offer a rotation, and will pay for travel expense. They usually did for equipment operators and mechanics. I did frac 2014-2018 in WTX, and although I learned a lot and met a lot of good people, I don't miss that kind of lifestyle. Good luck!
Joshua Tree Chrysler has a position open it's on indeed. So does Diamond Environmental. Also you could try for the manager trainee at Autozone or the service advisor position at American Tire Depot. Why not?
i say start the mobile wrencher thing. its what you know, you seem to have enough tools for it and you can set your own hours. why not? doesnt hurt to try it for awhile.
I laugh about the time my wife asked me why I was watching a video of a mechanic talking about a 19mm Cornwell wrench. Remember that video? Forget the know it alls and keep plugging away my friend!
I have to laugh about Justin having a drug addiction trying to be a cop I'm sure that happens and he does his life stuff first before he drinks a beer at home nothing wrong with that and nobody has the right to say anything
You shouldnt have to justify your decisions to cheeto dusted finger trolls on the internet. To me personally i dont give a crap about what ppl think of me in a sense. Just keep on keeping on justin your a good dude man
Dude… we’ve seen this movie before, more than a few times…. These jokers who troll you mean nothing. Don’t let them bother you. They have no influence on anything that happens in your life. Actually, you should embrace it… it usually bumps up views on your channel. I’ve been around for all the high, lows, melt downs, hiatus’, etc, etc. just let it roll off your shoulder. Keep the positivity going. 👍👍👍
Justin, I truly mean this, and it may not be welcome. You are talented, driven, honest, sincere, and 1000 other positive things. I’m not going to lecture or provide guidance; you’re gonna be alright. The only thing that saved me was my faith in god. Prayer works. :)
Have you thought about working for a fleet company? I know school bus companies are always hiring or the cities counties for mechanic. I currently work on a fleet company coach buses and school buses , a few automotive cars, and lite trucks . then after work I do my side work.
In my opinion you are one of the most honest, real individuals I have encountered on YT. J Young and I were just talking about how much we like you the other day on a livestream. Keep pushing Bro. Suggestion. If you need tools get a PO Box give out the address and make some requests. I’ve seen you donate tools to people in need. What about you? Plenty of extra sets of tools laying around unused in your subs garages. People need to stop hating and start helping each other.
People who make negative comments on UA-cam have their own problems they don't wanna deal with so they redirect it towards you. You're more ambitious than most the people watching, that's what I've noticed about you.
Justin I worked closely with addicts and I knew you were never on drugs I new alcohol was a big issue with your drinking on videos. We go way back. I looked forward to you fri/ sat night jam sessions. Good ole days. Get a grip man do a David Groggins and transform your life. Laser focus on physical and mental health. You will never gain confidence waiting around for something to fall in your lap
Not here to see a train wreck. Here to dee you step up and do Mobile Mechanic! Work your own hours bud and you will have loads of good content and you get to help people all at the same time. Keep uploading the good content.
Ever thought about being a Lineman? Or Powerline Maintainer if that’s how you wanna call it? Huge money, lots of OT, the right amount of physical activity . Recession proof
Justin. Working in a toxic environment is very detrimental to everyone in it. I have been here for a long time and I ALWAYS learn something from you. You are the most honest and openly truthful person I have ever known. You have never been afraid to work. To the keyboard warrior, well get in the ring. Get in the ring. I bet you won't. I have appreciated you being back and talking tools. It is nice to see what options are available bc I have just Snap-on and Cornwell available from the truck. HF is a ways from me and very inconvenient. You point out things I had never thought of. You have the heart of a teacher and would make an exceptional trade school instructor. Remember, baby steps, keep moving forward always. You got this brother.
Hey Justin, if automotive doesn’t work out have you considered commercial driving? There is decent money in it and you can stay local. School bus driving is a good start and will get you a Class B CDL license for free. Good luck and I enjoy your content.
If being around for your kids is important to you, make it happen. I know people that worked away or worked carzy hours then regreted missing their kids growing up. It goes fast. The way I see it, if you have a pension from the military, you just need to supplememt that, you don't need a huge paying job. Find something local, perhaps not mechanic related at all. Pretty sure even a near minimum wage job. ( maybe something with no stress or pressure), added to your pension would be a good total income. Do that in the interim, something good and completely unexpected may come along.
I would stay away from automotive/mechanic work. It's pretty obvious you're over this kind of work. Why buy all these expensive tools just to sell them at a loss?
Mate to say you have an alcohol dependence is a big statement, if you're drinking to get through the day, that is if you wake up with the dts that's alcohol dependence having a drink at the end of the day Hay who cares its your liver. Lol. you definitely don't seem to be showing signs of addiction especially to drugs. Keep on keeping on brother
With the utmost respect- why would we listen to someone who has NEVER made a mistake? People generally learn best from making mistakes. If we can learn from others mistakes, that's even better. Keep at it Justin! With all the tool talk, I am surprised you don't do Amazon Affiliate links for the tools you talk about- would be a good way to make a little extra scratch...
I have watched for years , think your dad used my Mac tools flag as a background for awhile , hope you get what works for you figured out . And just a suggestion go back to yellow and black tool box we stuck together lol
Haters gonna hate. If you go too deep on shit im not into i dont watch. That simple. I dont kick you over the internet! Lately youve been back on why i started watching you in the first place, almost 10 years ago at this point. 😂 damn im old 😢 thats just how the internet goes. We here 💪
You drink a lot less than I do and I don't consider myself to have any dependency. I don't know your whole story. I guess people have caffeine and sugar dependencies, too. Hang in there. Something good will come around. And the people that say others drink or drug too much are ALL serious addicts looking for company.
If you drink more than him you do indeed have a dependency.. He's literally grown man enough to admit he has it, you on the other hand want to deny and justify it. I bet you couldn't quit for a full year, sir that's alcholism.
Justin, hear me out, try equipment rental mechanic work. United, sunbelt, sunstate, independants are ok but not much money in those. I literally paid my house off and all my vehicles by working all the ot in the plants. Surely there is some around you? I tried automotive, they think they can do you any kind of way.
Most worthwhile careers that are not blue collar still require 4 year college.. Especially since they're girls, they likely are gonna desire a white collar profession over "duh tradez". I would agree that indoctrination is stronger than ever but I've known plenty of grounded people who don't get brainwashed. Teach them to pretend and play along politically for the sake of fitting in, but to never swallow the BS fully on a personal level. Maybe find a good church and encourage them to think for themselves and to silently but firmly question hiveminded opinions.
What about being a mobile mechanic... Do your own thing... No shop overhead, no full time employees, maybe no employees Maybe heavy equipment mechanic...Tekamo HD Just a thought... Really enjoy your channel and content, best of luck whatever you decide. 👍
As a person that's been around since the rat shack days, I strongly advise to stop reading comments. The Internet is full of bored people that hate on another, post the videos you find joy in making, and to hell with the haters.
Glad you’re back man, stay strong!
Thanks Brother Bear!
I watch all your videos too den of tools! Y'all have a great day

Glad you are back!! Some people just like to try and kick a guy while he is down.
When you said oil fields of west Texas, it reminded me of the scene in Joe Dirt haha. You done with that apple core? Lol
“I’m new, I don’t know what to do!”

Anxiety/panic disorder is a b*tch! I suffer from it too. I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy. It's very misunderstood too.
@@joshdane5657 I say that exactly same thing the suffering is real medicine only does so much if you can even get medicine nowadays.

Taking advice from a faceless person that calls himself 'Dude on couch'? $0... Never giving up and providing for your family? Priceless 👍
If someone says shit about you without proof. You don’t need to entertain the comment. Just like dr disrespect.
Thank you for your military service
At least the keyboard warriors gave you another discussion topic. Keep up the great videos 🍻
For the love of god, do not send your kids off to college. Colleges today are indoctrination camps. It was a huge waste of my time.
Honda Indio hiring, Chrysler in Palm Springs hiring transmission tech,
Every one has an opinion, just like they have a ass hole. Keep rocking. I take your advice.
What about being a mobile mechanic... Do your own thing... No shop overhead, no full time employees, maybe no employees
Maybe heavy equipment mechanic...Tekamo HD
Just a thought...
Really enjoy your channel and content, best of luck whatever you decide. 👍
Great vid. Keep on Keeping on as Jude says
As a person that's been around since the rat shack days, I strongly advise to stop reading comments. The Internet is full of bored people that hate on another, post the videos you find joy in making, and to hell with the haters.
