Agility Foundation - 5 Cone Game

Agility Foundation - the 5 Cone Game where we work on wrapping cones to help with handler focus, body control, footwork and the start of front crosses all with the use of just 5 cones! You can start moving the cones further apart as you and your dog perfect this technique to add distance and drive to the game.. Super fun! Work both ways round the cones.

Interesting. I've done a lot of this cone work but without the middle cone. I start with one cone, then add 2, then 3 and finally four but I stand in the middle, in place of your middle cone. I then slowly increase the distance of the 4 cones around me. I use movement and vocal cues to increase distance handling. I also add left/right cone wraps as well as left/right directional cues - so a left/right at a cone means don't wrap but move around to the next cone. I think this is probably a better exercise for those unused to handling a dog though so I'll put this in my locker to use at a future time
