Thank you for making this easy to understand! Me and my hiking group got off trail (behind the mountains) when I came down with heat exhaustion. It was thanks to her strava beacon the helicopter was able to find us quickly. She has an iphone and watch so learning how to do this with garmin + strava will make it much easier for me to set up.

Hello is there anyway of manually starting strava beacon from the watch without automatically sending a text message or do I have to do it through connect? Thanks

Question..
Does anyone know how or why i cant select to use the strava beacon through the garmin connect app? everything is linked up, device I am suing is connect to my phone, but when i select to use the strava beacon on garmin, when refreshing the page it the deselects it.
Any advice would be great. Cheers

Hi, Does pushing «enable» inside the Garmin app take you to stava? And if so is both «Beacon» and «Beacon for Garmin» enabled? Best Alf
