I marinate the meat straight into the zip lock bag, that way there's no waste and less washing up 😊

When I make samosas I always just cook the one side on frying pan, it makes it easier to hold and shape when putting in the filling.

Thats how we do it too. We very lightly cook both sides. Here in Maldives we call it 'Bajiya'. Shape is the same as samosa but the fillng is a mixture of lots of onions, tuna/chicken and spices, its really tasty.

Assalamualaikum ramadan mubarak sister.. just a little hack i wanted to share so the spring rolls or any pastries u made just coat each of them with all purpose or plain flour and put in a zip bag together.. it will not stick to each other... hope this help u...

Made some samosas with mum today. We cook our pastry (after rolling) just very quickly on both sides until it doesn't stick don the iron pan. Then add the filling and seal with a flour and water paste.
This is wow 😍Mashallah thanks for giving me many ideas on how to prepare dishes for Ramadan. I Love it especially the marinating of the chicken and lamb chops, I’m gonna try your recipe. I think this really helpful especially if we having limited time to cook.

I second that, the spices you use is similar to mine too. I love fresh garlic, ginger, chillies & coriander. Love your frozen prep I do the same, saves a lot of time. 👍

Don’t forget to bulk prep donations too if you can and are able. Some people forget Ramadan is not the month of starvation and bulking at night. It’s for the soul, letting go and giving, regardless if you fast physically or not. Just a reminder. And please avoid unhealthy foods and make sure you’re eating proper and realizing how much of a blessing food and health is whilst connecting with God throughout the month fully! Just wanted to leave this message for anyone that is willing to accept it with their heart. This is also something I’m keeping in mind myself for the month! InshAllah we can all make the month a truly purposeful one.
