Im so honored to have been taught by an amazing glassmaker like Helen, and been able to speak to Jeff a couple of times as well. The level of skill building they have both done is magnificent. they have both mastered technique, and employed it to make a statement. its just awesome and im so happy they get to do what they love.
also, whoever it is that did the surface grind on that marver deserves a bonus. that criss cross pattern is as perfect as it was unintentional. even the marver is art!

Really cool piece, but what happened to Helen's wing?
The end result is a little to modern for my tastes, but the process to make it was interesting.
It looks more like a DECO Objekt because for using ist for drinking would too much of the drink leve the glass via the holes which where left.
