• [Pan-Am] South America
So many thanks to our friends David and Ju for encouraging us to do this expedition with them!
A mechanic that lets you watch his work ! Pay after you test out the work ! WoW ! You really are in another country !
😅😂
That's Brazil for you.
theres good people on earth. govt likes to make us think otherwise. so loving watching these young guns, we're 60 now and still rocking the TC life, but at a slower pace now. safe travels to our Canadian friends.
WHAT. A. WONDERFUL. EXPERIENCE !!! The bugs and the other wildlife would be for me the main reason to visit that region. And then comes the jaguar :-)
It’s an amazing place!!
super 😍 beautiful video of the entire trip ❤
as a brazilian, that was incredible to watch s2
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks for the video.. consider including maps in the videos.
Would love to, it's a lot of work to make interactive ones that we actually like, not just google images. Hopefully an ai program can help with that in the future.
Peace be with you, amazing adventure, well done, guys, safe returns ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤from New York, I will be in Guyana jungles next month driving from Georgetown to Lethem then to Boa Vista Brazil and back to Soesdyke EDB.
Guyana is on our list! We hope to go one day. Have fun.
You rock Vancouver Islanders ! Carry on! Cheers

Hello my friends, with the intention of helping you, I would like to inform you that the Pantanal does not belong to the Amazon region but to the Serrado region and is the largest flooded plain on planet earth. I hope I helped you during your stay here in Brazil.
Hey there, that's correct! We addressed that in the video at 3:56
@@ToyotaWorldRunners ❤
Actually, neither Amazon, nor Cerrado, Pantanal is a different biome on its own.
Obrigado por visitar e mostrar as belezas do Brasil 🇧🇷 ❤ thank you for coming and show the beatiful nature of Brazil.
That Mann 🤤
That Defender 🤤 🤤
That Yota 🤤 🤤 🤤
What an awesome adventure, awesome rigs and amazing filming.
Thank you so much for watching!
@ToyotaWorldRunners in the 1980s I Iived 1 year in brasil 84 to 89 enjoyed 4 carnivals in rio sambodromo and clubs and streets best times of my life been to the amazon manaus the capital of the anazon I swam in the rio negro where it was safe to swim 🏊♂️ by our tour guide brasil is very beautiful 😍 and very unique it's the 5th largest population in the world 🌎 people very friendly and hospitable the food 💙 is outrageou 1:04:00 s delicious like baked chicken with lots of salt and fresh garlic ❤️ salads 🥗
Yota the Defender of Mann
It's a Hi lux😂😂😂😂
Brazil is amazing!! Everyone should put it on their wishlist!! Don’t “change plans”, just plan for it!!
The best thing about Brazil, to me, is that you don't need to plan much, if you can be flexible.
Just go and explore. There is so much to see and experience.
Hell Yeah! Piranha catch and cook with a sight of jaguar!
Thank You. We're loving your adventures.
🙏🏼🙏🏼 We’re so happy you enjoy them!
Its very, very hard to see a jaguar in nature, they are luckiest people on the river that day !!!!!!!!!
TOYOTA, the best wagon in the world. You'll know next time to rip the doors off and have a couple of belts to stop you falling out, then throw them back on when required. Great video and take care..
País : BRASIL 🇧🇷
Estado : Ceará
Cidade : Fortaleza
Aventura Fantástica !
Esse é o primeiro vídeo de vocês que assisto, está magnífica as trilhas e as imagens! Parabéns !
Devo procurar assistir toda a série , principalmente no meu país ! Sejam bem-vindos! ❤️
Se tivesse legendas em português seria melhor ainda, infelizmente eu não sei inglês ...no entanto vale a pena assistir tudo !
Para os rapazes : 👏👏👏
Para as garotas : 🌹🌹🌹

🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you for watching! We love your country!!
I usually make an attempt to put into words the feelings that come through on the video, but this time, I'll just go with WOW! That really was wild. The look of contentment on wonderment on Stacy's face near the end told the whole story of the trip. Well done for sure.
🙏🏼 it was one we will never forget
Wow.. is definitely the right choice....
Quick tip to get more reach out of your lenses, Sony bodies have clear image zoom. The 1.5x setting doesn’t degrade the image at all, it’s like a built in teleconverter. Map it to a custom button and you can instantly punch in. Keep up the amazing work!
“As we enter the Jungle Theater we notice everything gets a little louder, birds have found a new octave and the bugs have joined multiple choirs”… Hahahaahaa.. effing poetic and epic!!!!!
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼😂
What a country Brazil is. It has it own uniqueness.
if it was a developed country by the western standards, this wouldn't be so much exciting.
My Brazilian neighbour always says if Brazil had democracy, it wouldn't be fair on the rest of the world.
I have to say, I agree.
Still think you guys got the coolest rig i like the old vintage even with no air
😅😂 definitely the hottest vehicle around
@@ToyotaWorldRunners Are you running a 4y carburator engine in that Toyota or what motor is in it? it look strong for all those terrains
@@ToyotaWorldRunners Do you own the 76 Hilux? We had them
In Australia but no 4WD option. Apart from my HP Chryslers, it was the best car I owned. Obviously converted to four-wheel-drive later on in life.
@@jakubu1000 they originally came out with a 12R 1600cc 4 on the column in Australia
Hands down the best rig of the three!!!
Absolutely incredible, I love it! Amazing filming, fantastic people... triple thumbs up!!
Thank you so so much!!
Best travel documentary on UA-cam! Love your descriptions and voice.
Thank you so much!!
💯. No question.
To bad the people here couldn't trust each other like that. But greed always takes 1st place in America.
You two make beautiful videos. They remind me of the old Globetrekker series in a way, but I think your videos are better.
Wow! A serious compliment. Thank you
When you think you have had an amazing adventure, something new comes around the corner for you - or up the River! Jaguar is going to be a hard act to follow, but I feel some great adventure still to follow. Safe travels and as always - much love 💙
As soon as we feel we’ve seen the best, nature somehow prevails!
I did the trek to Tuktoyaktuk from Vancouver Island. It was almost 8000kms total, and a lot of it was highways. Stewart Cassier, Alaskan, Klondike, Duffy, and the infamous Dempster, and ITH. It was wet, the Dempster was brutal, on the way out. Averaged about 380kms a day. But easy in comparison to what you’ve accomplished! What an inspirational Journey!!
Sounds amazing. We are excited to see those vast landscapes soon!
Thankyou that was a lifetime adventure with you all 👍 what a adventurous way to enjoy the wilderness god bless you all happy journey ahead 😊❤
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I meant to say 2023 from 1989
I’m continually amazed at your content. What an amazing adventure. Beautiful!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Go to Jalapao ( Tocantins ) and Chapada Diamantina
Been down the Amazon River taking Spanish Language students to an Eco Reserve there in the Rainforest just happened to be the worst rainstorm ever there‼️Whole Teak trees tumbling down the Amazon. When we reached our Eco Reserve we went up a 21 foot from the river to the land. When we left the river had risen up 21 feet and we just stepped into the boat from the land😳But I wouldn’t have missed it for the world🥰❣️❣️❣️🌈
Loved this segment. The wildlife, drone footage and comradery made a great adventure. The memories came flooding back from our multiple trips around Brasil.Gracias🤘

That big footprint at min 15:33 doesn't just look like a dinosaur on, it IS A DINOSAUR ONE, it's a crocodile footprint!
Very captivating video. You need AC! I would suggest you slow the rolling of the names of your contributors down so we can actually read them. Enjoy the Amazon country and its wildlife. Total opposite of overlanding in southern Utah.
Best Overlanding Travel Channel On UA-cam 👏🏽🫡🔥🚚🗺️🌎

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Romans 3:10-12)
Seja bem vindos ao Brasil Matthew and Stacey, I am Brazilian watching you guys adventure here in California US!
You guys are about to have adventure of a life time in Brazil enjoy.
Thank you so much!
19:27 traveling with 2 Germans. what can go wrong? nothing at all nothing. Germans are so perfect 👌 this trip is so easy for them. with German precision. only 2 questions? don't they miss the traffic jams? and the eternal road work? I’am from the Netherlands close to Germany
This was one amazing adventure. I'm looking forward to reading your book when you are done.
Haha we look forward to writing it!
Muito boms os vídeos. Si chegarem en balneario picarras ,santa catarina aguardamos vcs
Amazing how the capybara will thrive practically shoulder to shoulder with the crocodiles as the capybara's have no known enemies.
Rsrs, pegou pao de queijo! Must have been the brazilian lady who knows that!
Long time subscriber.Absolutely off the hook!, Thank uou so much.
🤙🏼🤙🏼 Thank you for being here
The 3 toed Tracks are from a Tapir. Along the road some birds were shown. Black-collared Hawk, Great Curassow, Crested Caracara.
Great video and great adventure
Obrigado pela sua visita e volte sempre ❤👏👏👏🇧🇷
We will!!
You need to know Br319, a road that connects the city of Manaus to the rest of the country. Much visited by offroad enthusiasts.
What's with the country music ? Play some brazillian funk
thanks i loved your video. i from holland but living in brazil. and never seem the nature with you me show. bleas your a;;
Great video. I’ve never heard a German say “Man Truck” 😅 (it’s always been M A N).
These Japanese cars suck. You should buy a Chinese SUV. They are the future.
Hi good morning nice adventure love your video nice love the your truck great job maybe one day i will join you ❤💯🙏
At 24:46 That moth had such a a crazy looking pattern on its wings. I really liked how you shared that as most travelers may only share larger animals and mamals
Thumbs up for turtle rescue
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Super RAD departure from your planned travels...
I'm so grateful you guys happened across this epic side journey!
Keep it up with your AWESOME weekly videos and bonus documentaries!!!
We are also so grateful for it!
They got mechanics down there not parts replacers like Canada.
The music at 1:36 makes me think I'm about to see Matt Farrell's overland car
PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT, I'm half way into your show (video) and I'm thinking 🤔 this would make a good National Geographic Society show.
We believe so too 😏😏
I lived in Florida for 35 years add an old Toyota pickup and I used to go back roads dirt mud in the rain and in the hot summer time in August this is back in 89 1989 in Florida all the way to 2003 came back to New York to be with my mother but I will go back that expedition you guys did beautiful God bless you all❤🎉😅😊
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Ok in the fire at 7:23 am I the only one who sees a head on fire? You can clearly see the face and flames on top of the head.
First footprint this animal we call TAPIR
Oh my goodness, I'm learning so much!! I thought the grey and black bird that crossed the road was a Harpy, but searching it comes up with Southern Crested Caracara!! Wow!❤
The bird watching here is actually insane..!
What a GRAND adventure! Thank you for sharing it with us, friends. Also, Matt..."over-riverer"? Bro...you're a Waterlander now...
Love the Chinook, I have a regular model non 4x4, bummer, 2004 but still pretty cool, What year is yours? Happy Travels
Sunday is a 1976!
Brasileiro é muito inocente, com certeza isso não é rali .
I think I watched you buy that Chinook and then refurbish it in BC and now your driving through the pantànal. Fkn amazing life. Keep it up and I'll definitely subscribe, love any Canadian who does amazing shit like the sailors from Victoria on sailing Nahoa. And thank you for the amazing video.
Haha we have to seriously pinch ourselves sometimes when we look at our location on a map 😅 thank you for watching!
Does the gf ever drive? Only seems fair.
I've seen both drive, yes.
She can drive.. who does the drone shots?
Wow... Exciting, beautiful, fun... Love the comradery, love the animals, birds and reptiles... Love love love. FABULOUS video ❤️❤️❤️
Brazil has continental dimensions, and has many wonders to be seen...
And if that doesn’t sound crazy and wild enough…….just remember that local people make these trips every week in unmodified vehicles!
But yeah…I guess that thought might disrupt my privileged world view.
Hi J, thanks for the comment, by doing so you help support the growth and continued success of our channel and we greatly appreciate that!
For sure, in every country there are locals taking every way possible just to meet their needs. Not so many doing the entire Pan-American, but certainly you can do it with a stock tuktuk if you wanted! I'd personally rather have a modified vehicle doing half the work, than a stock car pushed to its limit, you might agree!
As far as privileged goes, I'm not sure if you meant to be insulting or satire. Being Canadian certainly is a great privileged. We recognize and are sensitive to that fact everywhere we go, excessing humility. I'll invite you to watch more of our videos to discover that for yourself!
Thanks again.
My country called Brazil it's the most beautiful country in the world.
And I think, How did they communicate with this people of countryside?
It truly is magnificent!
You earned it right, as you said by now. I hope we've earned your subscription... I was hitting the button good timing on both our parts, lol. I'd like to see an in-depth overview of each rig. I'll go check your channel now 🤞
Thanks for tuning in and joining the TWR fam!
So good, I love the scenery and your voice and your wife’s laugh. Can I ask, Any big. Spiders in your van.
Haha awesome! And not yet thank god!
Great video and awesome trip. I’m planning my trip to transpantaneira… tks for sharing. 🙏🏼🙌🏼✨🏕️
Nice!! You’ll love it
Imaginem se contassem uma piada para ela rir...
acho que morreria sem ar
:) since I seen yall at Joshua tree. Look how far y’all have gone! Amazing! Safe travels!
So many countries! Cheers 🍻
👋🏼 Small struggling Travel Channel here. I love your content, thanks for this great video! You inspire me to keep grinding my channel, maby one day I’ll grow as big as you 🥲
We’ve been in the grind phase too. We still are! It’s a never ending chance to perfect the skills. You’re not struggling, you’re growing! Get it!!💪🏼
Bota legenda português!!! Que bacana ver vocês aqui no brazil
We will try and figure it out!
My guess is that the "dino" tracks were from a tapir
Can you include music links to your excellent music choices 😀
You guys are gods of overlanding. lots of hugs and love from Montreal. ❤❤❤
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Did the chinook not have an AC option? Just curious why you wouldnt want to put some time and money into some sort of compressor and blower for AC. nothing crazy. Did the engine you purchase have an AC compressor already on it? This was the first thing i thought of when I saw the transformation video, "did they add AC for South America"
Its an awesome rig, Heat and AC im sure will be an upgrade in the future.
We didn’t have enough time to install it. Version 2 will definitely have AC
Do not mix the Pantanal withThe Amazon . It is two different ecosystems in two different geographic regions. Trans Pantanera is NOT the Amazon.
Thanks for the comment, we addressed that early in the video at 3:56!
amazing trip! thanks for sharing and inspire us all. one question ... the barge itinerary ... was from Porto Jofre to where? didn´t get it.
To Corrumba!
Those bridges support enourmous trucks full of cattle, don't be afraid nex time....
I would assume! You should tell the "structural engineer" that commented 'shame on us' the same thing 😅
Yooo! What an epic experience to bare witness to.. After you two told me about this video I HAD to find it :) Jas and I are in awe. The travel bug in me is squigglin!
Haha yes!! So happy you enjoyed it bro 🙌🏻
Fantastic, the laughing and excitement is very appealing, loving the wildlife, and scenery. The hospitality, and outdoor life. Love you guys
Thank you so much!
Pretty sure that footprint at 15:33 was a tapir. Cool find!
