I love this scene. It shows people compassion for parents who have dealt with this, who have had to hear that they're terrible and negligent, as if they aren't bearing the consequences enough. I love the grace in this scene.
This is a beautiful moment between a husband and his wife. Julian was at his lowest point here but Brooke picked him up. The tenderness in her voice when she says "Stop" and turns off the car is amazing. The acting for both...amazing.
Julian made a terrible mistake 🙁 But that’s what happens, parents are also just human beings. The way he is beating himself up about this, breaks my heart every time.
