What a year you’ve had Grace! Sending you and your sweet family endless positive thoughts from 🇨🇦. Hoping 2025 brings us all peace and good health. Lovely to see you again. 😊
Hello from Northern California and a Happy New Year! Grace, we love hearing all that is going on with you, James and your growing family. We are always sending positive vibes your way for a healthy Grace, James and new baby...!!!!!!!!
Lovely to see you here again! I will appreciate anytime you can find for us- even just the lovely scenery at the end and your wonderful laugh. Hope all goes well for James and new babe too.
Grace! So good to see a video from you, but I am sad to hear of James' situation. I am very glad you have excellent health care in Ireland, and am hopeful for his regained health. Meanwhile, take care of yourself and your family! Love you lots, my friend!
@@marydeloria8352 I’m so glad we have free healthcare here in Ireland too. We have health insurance also but all oncology & cancer services are free in Ireland. Money is the last thing you want to be worrying about at this time. So grateful for his team. ❤️❤️
Welcome, welcome, welcome back! I am looking forward to watching you again! Wishing you all the best health and babywise! Fingers crossed you will be able to come back.
Hi miss. I too am off Instagram and FB. Being off the socials has been so restorative. Thank you for this video. Let's all kick 2024 good bye and welcome a most beautiful 2025. Love from 🇨🇦 Judith
I'll be grateful for any time you have to share with us! You have had such a year...sheesh! My husband was diagnosed with lymphoma in Feb., so we too have had our share of chemo and scary days, but he's all clear now and we are savoring every day of good health for as long as we have it! I wish you joyous days, much better health, and a new and even better 'normal', when the baby arrives. You bring such delight to my days, and I hope you feel the love and caring being sent your way!
@@dcgudger lymphoma is no joke! James is on immunotherapy so the treatment has knocked his immune system sideways so far. But hopefully once we are out of cold & flu season, things will get a bit easier
I’m so happy to hear that everything was caught early for James. And so exciting that there will soon be a new little one for you both to run after! Here’s to a great 2025 for us all!!❤❤
@@llessard thanks love! There’s a lot of running already. 😅 hopefully the running will be put off until 2026 when Jane’s & myself are fully recovered 🤣🤣
lovely to hear from you! Myself, i've become significantly disabled by chronic illness in the last year; I sure know what it's like to lose crafty outlets and end the year thinking "oh, i've got nothing to show!" I love the handspun sweater you're working on, it's stunning. So worried to hear about James! I hope the early treatment takes care of everything, and that he fares well.
What a year for you. Glad to see you intending to come back, but please. Look after yourself, and your family first. I found crafting a huge comfort after number two, particularly those long days on little sleep and crazy toddler antics. Also... just saying, garter stitch is a good friend for brainless days. :) That jumper looks amazing.
Yeay Grace, so good to see you back. I watched your 6-minute podcast and it was a wonderful surprise. I have watched Babbles Travelling Yarns for more years than I can remember. Your podcast is a friendly relief as I go through a troubling time too. Congratulation to all three of you on your pregnancy. James, I am so glad you caught things early. We Celts have a strong constitution but i hope the medication doesn't knock you around too much in this otherwise special time in your lives. I am sure it will be a long time before you can do another spin/knit retreat Grace but i would love to come from Perth Western Australian to join. I visit my family in Dundee Scotland annually so could combine. 🤩.
I’m happy to see you back. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I promise, you will be less stressed with your second child. Stepping away from Instagram was probably a very good move. I am so sorry to hear about the medical issues that you and James are dealing with. Such a frightening thing when your spouse has cancer. It is really hard. I’m glad you feel confidence in his medical care. I hope your daughter and new baby help you both to have joyful times during treatment. I’m sending healing thoughts and lots of love to surround you and your family.
It’s been a hell of a year. He’s a chatty recap of how it went & what I made! Three finished objects & two jumpers isn’t so bad 🤣
yeah 2024 was hard on my daughter (and ME!) as well. Fuck cancer. 2025 will be great!
So good to see you & hear your sweet Irish voice. Be well! Sending healing vibes to you & your family ❤️❤️
