  • In this video I walk you through how to set the PID tuning values in the mission planner for use with the MINDS-i MultiRotor UAV kit.
    The kits are all made out of the same basic pieces, with helpful step by step instructions. The MINDS-i platform consists of simple beams and connectors that lock together to make a durable chassis.

    You're reading through a PDF with a series of Mission Planner instructions. Are these instructions supposed to be available in our kits? I don't see them with any of the included materials.

      This is actually our older instructions based on mission planner but you can grab our latest instructions and dashboard on our website here: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0048/7129/0950/files/UAV_M305_v1.9_904cf522-7ce3-4ab6-8a74-7ed58f503091.pdf?v=1600903180

    Help, in mission planner advanced pid tuning page, I can lower any value, but once I save parameters, it will not let me raise them. It holds the value. I do not have "lock values" checked. How do I raise a value?

    Hello. could you kindly tell me if there is a way to adjust dead band like there is in betaflight. I've been discouraged from using my APM because of drifting and I know it could be corrected but no matter how much research I do I can't find a way to set dead band in mission planner

      I'm not sure exactly, though I believe there may be a way to do it, probably under advanced parameters or the full parameter tree list. MINDS-i has created it's own dashboard for using the APM board so it's way different from mission planner.

    Is this okay with Tx AT10II RADIOLINK

    • @mymindsiinc
      @mymindsiinc  7 років тому

      @rmuznet, the PID tuning is specific to the MINDS-i quadcopter. You'll likely need to make adjustments to your tuning if you are flying a different model. As for the Radio Transmitter, MINDS-i uses the Spectrum DXe but the mission planner should work with the Tx AT10II, just make sure to run the radio calibration and properly bind your transmitter to receiver.
