Pasaiba Tourmaline is involved in the supply and distribution of medical equipment to various medical corporate institutions, hospitals (public and private), clinics, health organisations and NGO’s, other distributors, as well as individuals. They offer a wide range of products that include but not limited to equipment such as ultrasounds, incubators, hematology machines, wheelchairs, hospitals beds and furniture, hospital linen (beddings and staff uniform), surgical equipment, diagnostic equipment, and consumables such as gloves; non-pharmaceuticals (bandages, forceps, scissors, etc.) as well as pharmaceutical products on a wholesale basis.
Pasaiba has used its funding from BPI as working capital, to purchase stock as well as source for personal protective equipment (PPE) during the Covid19 pandemic. BPI has also provided Pasaiba with the Technical Assistance (TA) facility, an interest- free loan to facilitate the company to be ISO certified, acquiring a management system to support the business as well as connect the team with experts to facilitate personnel training.
