good morning Jim, that was a great but very sad video. it was a dark time in history and just goes to show the way the rich use the trouble of the less fortunate to their advantage and the lack of human compassion to the needs of the poor. it really is sad . but we should never forget those times because if we do not learn from the past we will be forced to relive it in the future and the state of the world now is becoming scary for many people. We are victims and perpetrators. So many Irish moved to the US and took the lands of the native Americans. There are no videos about that because it is too complex to explain.
There can be documentaries made and produced about that issue if only people took it upon themselves to undertake and research it. I am highlighting the plight of Irish peasants during the Great Hunger. No issue is too complex to document in this day & age.
@@jimowers3690 my point is that it is not possible to see any event in isolation, or that any group is a victim. The Irish migrant inflicted a holocaust on the Native American. The holocaust continues right now. The Irish travel the world now as the richest in Europe, trashing the local environment and using the native populations on slave wages to clean their toilets and cook for them. The Irish were also slave traders in their time as well. You don’t have to mention any of this though.
