Thanks for the information Kim. My son has around 30 chickens and right now eggs are plentiful, but history tells me that things change in the winter. You are correct that we have lost a lot of ways our ancestors survived. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

I loved this video! I come from a family who were big gardeners, picklers and canners. The only bought tinned food I knew as a kid was tuna fish. Our pantry was filled with mason jars stuffed with every kind of vegetable and fruit imaginable BUT we didn’t have preserved chicken eggs. 🥚 more videos like this please. ❤

Kim, thank you for sharing this! I had heard of it but didn't really know what it was. You are right, we have lost a lot of common knowledge that everyone used to know. I found your channel about 3 weeks ago and love your videos! Always informative.

Hello Kim my name is Michael and I was wondering if you ever heard of mountain magic tomatoes? I saw them on another tomato gardener, they are beautiful and plentiful.

Our dogs sleep in our bedroom at night. So, eggs are not a component of their diet.

Kim do you candle your eggs or just take a chance and find a surprise in them later?

Nice video! Please be careful with your son inhaling that lime. I noticed that when he was helping you he inhale a little dust of that lime.
