I got to see Joe live on his last tour when John was performing with the band. These regular looking bros were standing a few rows in front of me screaming and cheering Joe on. I thought it was cool.. wasn't till a year or two later, after his passing, it dawned on me just how righteous his baselines are. He's going to be missed and hard to replace. Rest in peace, Joe, we're praying for you.
Holy mother, why are you weeping? holy mother, why are you sad? Don’t you know your children love you? keep them safely from the prince of lies Why are you sleeping? Holy Mother, why aren’t you glad? Don’t you know your children love you? don’t you know?
While you’re sleeping their lives pass you by Cannot cross the street See how they’re beaming, When you find the chance to take their hand and keep them from the lie, See how they’re beaming, Holy mother
Still can't get into screen memories I don't know why. Mostly enjoy it when it's on but even after a lot of plays it just isn't memorable to me. Wonder if there'll be a new album from John soon?
@@dominicaaaaa5547 yeah, I have to agree. We Must Be Pitiless Censors had more memorable songs, each with a unique character. While Screen Memories feels like a rehashing of the same techniques (albeit somewhat improved) but without as much.. I dunno, that THING that just grips you in the heart and makes you say "This is a good song!" But the more you listen to the album the more you start to think "No, like holy sh*t this is a REALLY GOOD SONG!!!". Haven't felt that way as much on Screen Memories, but I still really enjoy most of it. Can't wait to hear if there's a new album.
Mothers of the world: "We know our children love us, but society puts a lots of pressure on us, makes us exhausted, and sad. Society don't give us the enough support at all. Be gentle to all the mothers, please."
This Bass line will live forever . Rip joe

Perfect! But who is Holy mother?
who do you think
John Maus has said in interviews if he were to join any religion it would be Orthodox Christianity.. it's the Theotokos, the Mother of God.
@@Howardlandscapingllc he isn’t religious already? I though he was Roman catholic
@@uwu-fm2kj based on the interview I read I'd say I don't think he's a member of either the Roman catholics or the eastern Orthodox church.
