Dude you just saved me so much time. I ordered 2 footpads, and they both broke. I'm not going through it again. Thanks for this man. Love your enthusiasm! FFM!
It works, but it’s super sketchy due to the inevitable shutoffs when your foot leaves the button. I like the treadmill kill switch idea. Looking forward to seeing any other solutions you try out. 🤙🏼💯
I agree with your last comment at the end of the video, a two button setup would probably be easier to ride and less chance of the board cutting out on you during a turn. Either way, this was a very smart solution on the cheap.
Thanks for the video! I did the same thing on my pint X, but due to lack of space, I was forced to install the button where I put my toes rather than heel, although I didn't have the issue of it shutting off in turns like you do with the heel. Still more sketchy than a sensor for sure, but it's a temporary fix for me.
I wish there was a way to do the stiff sensor delete like on the gt and pints were you can remove the small piece of plastic to make it easier to press and how you liking that tire I have one but have yet to mount hearing mixed emotions about them

100 miles on it and it works fine
only throws me off when it is wet
Shouldn't matter leaving the button unless he's below 1mph. So he will only fall at 1mph in theory
@@auston911 i wired the button into both foot sensors pads so it stops completely when you release the button at any speed

thanks for watching the whole thing mann!
Nice emergency fix but my riding style would throw me off the board every few feet with such a smalle button. Cool setup you have there in the van!
i just replaced it with a bigger button!
Good solution there, never heard of that kill switch treadmill idea. Would love to see a vid on that down the line, seems like a very safe option.
lol. JUST stumbled on this video and it’s freakin’ GOLD❤

I would definitely make the button bigger like with a 3D printed cap but I think the treadmill method sounds safer
Below 50 f degree shut off? Was it sitting in cold awhile then tried to start. Seams fine in much colder .
Pintx was giving me cold hot warnings and had to get new battery. Now she's making a choo choo sound not stoked
well done man
