hi im planning on taking a two week trip solo to japan next year (i hope!). if i plan to go on a budget do you think i can make it through the trip with $4000 pocket money? i want to stay in mostly hostels and plan on buying the 14 day JR pass before going to japan.
For two weeks, that's definitely enough :) It does depend on what you plan to do / buy, but I'd generally keep around $100-$200 on me per day which was completely enough to cover all meals, any tickets, shopping, any surprise purchases, but most days I wouldn't even get close to spending that :)
So much food to eat, activities to try, places to see, things to buy - Japan has GOT TO be one of best countries in the world. What an amazing vlog series Jess! I loved every episode! It makes me excited to go back to Japan for my second trip next year!!

Hi! I’m in Tokyo right now but would like to ask a random question 😂 Do you catch the train back to the airport if u travel from Narita? I want to do it but I’m kinda nervous 😭
I normally catch the Narita Express from Tokyo station back to Narita Airport, but this year I caught a airport limousine bus and it takes a bit longer but was very comfortable and convenient because I didn't have to lug my stuff all the way to Tokyo station :)
