Receiving the ball with your inside of your foot is one of the most essential skills in soccer.
How you receive the ball in football, always depends on the situation. Keep in mind that you don't want to stop the ball. You always want to take the ball into direction (directional first touch).

what 3 corners of the field?
If you are facing the ball and you spread your arms infront of you like I do in the video, you should be able to see at least 3 corners (corner flags) of the football field without turning your head.
The reaspn receiving rhe ball and first touch is the MOST IMPORTANT SKILL IN FOOTBALL is because you need it to be able to do ANYTHING in the game, forget shots, passing, and having a good game if you cant even do what you want the ball to do.
