@@durinsrest6570 the sweet note I got from opening the tin was very pleasant, just couldn't place. I'm not sure where I stand yet. My plan is to smoke every day this week with my morning coffee in a different pipe. I'm not loving it or hating it. Just kind of confused. But I have enjoyed when the orientals come into play. I'll have to get back with my final verdict. I'll probably smoke thru the whole tin every morning until it's gone, so I can really get taste for the blend
@@durinsrest6570 lol. Yes more philosophy is to come. Ive just enjoyed doing tobacco reviews so much, but yes there will be some different kinds of content coming
So I’m a little ways into my second bowl of… you guessed it… Eight State Burley, when YT recommends this video. To top it off, they tacked on a short survey asking if it was a good recommendation. Happy to say that it was! Thanks for your review. I’m still learning after a year and a half and your perspective helps. Please do the comparison with the earlier batch on video! I went in on three tins of this because fuck it. I am leaning towards loving it but I need to experiment with different pipes. The first bowl was in my widest pot and that was a drastically different experience than the second bowl, which was quite narrow. Thanks again!
Yo thanks for doing the survey that seriously helps out small channels! And honestly even after 10 yrs I'm learning daily. You'll get new smells and widen your nose and pallate range daily . Just yesterday I tried a new snuff and thought "this is a different type of like" turns out I'd never smelled bergamote before. And yeah bowls do play a big part I feel like the biggest thing is to find two bowls that have a similar draw flow and then they will smoking pretty similar But yeah I'll be comparing soon bc I'm curious how similar or not they are .
Super interesting blend and pipe. Tobacco from 2005 being smoked today blows my mind.
Right! I love the old stuff some great MCC blends from pre 2000
Im gonna like this
It's good I'm interested in the comparison to the og
I was waiting to see your take on this one!
Yeah for sure need a couple more bowls to work out the details it's a rich blend for sure
I picked up 2tins. My 1st burley forward blend. Already had two sessions with this blend.
How are you liking it? If your not used to burley forwards they can usually be very overpowering for people

@@durinsrest6570 I happen to be familiar with Bergamot from a particular snus so I'm curious about that snuff!
@@topher90210 I think it's called berliner from rosinski

Im not a fan of Burley so interested to see what you think.
I'd say if you don't care for burley don't crack it until it's had a full year to sit
Your Lord is wondering if you will send some (if you will means, you will).
You know where to find you waxyboy
