Sorry missed the live Rich, was still enjoying the Jubilee Weekend. Some great looking birds 👍🏻
Beautiful and very visible color scheme. Black underbelly, very smart choice for long distance silluete visibility.
What is the expected cost of the FMS Viper 90mm? Is it relatively the same scale as the Eflite Viper 90mm? I like this FMS better though. Thank you for your videos and I continue to learn a lot from you.
Thanks for a very nice nearly three hours, I enjoyed it alot🙂.
I really hope you guys can buy this in the US to.
I got mine now, the quality here is outstanding, unlike anything I've seen.
Since I fly Jeti transmitter, I doubt I can get reverse on it. Things here are ment for FrSky, Spectrum and other brands than Jeti.
Inspired of the FPV guys with Eflight 90mm Viper, this one is also equipped with DJI goggles and headtracker.
I really recommend to try it, it's a hysterical amount of joy, new experience and wonder what the heck have I been doing all these years with rc-models. It's that good..
Headtracker makes you a real pilot.
And since I quitted hanggliding, this is perfect!😄
Reverse thrust is a function of the ESC not the radio so Jeti is fine. You just need a channel on the RX to the ESC to activate reverse.
Hey Rich, thanks for this setup video, clarified lot of things, have you added any minus (up elevator?) mix with the flaps as per the eflite viper 90 manual? Or did you leave it alone>? Does the Jet need slight uptrim when flaps are deployed? does it nose down without the elevator mix? thanks
Sorry I missed the live show was getting motorcycle out for a bit ny inspection check getting grill chicken dinners from a benefit. Be nice to see the albatross in the air, safely of course. Enjoy your videos. Have a great day.
Thanks for watching! Also just got my bike out:)
@@RCINFORMER nys changed exhaust laws some dealers won't inspection exhaust they put on in the past. Thank You nys.
Missed the live show unfortunately. I was considering removing the Reflex and installing a AR637T for a Spektrum setup. Any thoughts on this approach?
Yea, that would work great!
T gill from Louisiana man I wanna see your fly that thing🙋🏻👍
Which one?
A friend of mine recently bought one of these planes in the UK. He has a couple of questions, hopefully you can answer them?
1. What make programming box or card is available for the Viper?
2. How did you manage to sort the reverse thrust issue you had towards the end of the video?
He's having a few issues with setting things up, and has the same reverse thrust issue hence he was looking to see if a programming card for the ESC in the Viper would help rectify this and some other problems.
Thanks in advance for your reply, regards from the UK., Graeme.
Graeme, I use the ESC program guide in the manual to program the ESC, no card is required. Check for the program guide here: www.fmshobby.com/products/predator-esc-120a ... Also, I have stopped using the reverse thrust feature. It is real bad for the motor & I have already had one motor destroyed & I speculate that caused it. This plane lands so slowly, it does not need reverse:)
Thanks for the walkthrough; getting ready to assembly my Viper. Great desk, what make is it?
Look up Tresanti electric desk... I got mine at Costco
I purchased the ARF version of the Viper. There aren't any instructions on how to hook up the lights? Do you have to use an open channel? Also where did you get the FMS version of version. I like the colors!
Sucks that this is not available in the US. I would rather have this since eflite greedily refuses to sell PNP version of viper 90 and many others.
Like rich see you must complain to horizon if everybody complain maybe they listen🤷♂️
What's you takeoff flap position in mm from neutral and full flaps position in mm as well?
Now thats a airplane. Like the colors
Thanks!
Where i can buy this viper ?
What is meant by nonUS market and why,, anyone know the reason !!
ANOTHER re branded E-Flite jet for FMS in China. It’s a nice scheme.
FYI it is other way round-FMS make them FOR E-Flite! 😂 anyway who cares-companies make product for multiple people all the time, variety is good thing
@@arnstvanbuell2811 I know. FMS makes planes for E-Flite. Some E-Flite planes (70mm Viper, 70mm Thunderbird, 64mm F-15) are re-branded FMS products. The thing is, they have started selling an 80mm F-18, 80mm F-4, and 2x 70mm Su-27 (air superiority variant of the multirole Su-30.) All of which are Discontinued E-Flite planes. Fortunately, I got the Blue Angel version of the F-18 when they discontinued it, but I can’t say I have the F-4 or Su-30. I would like to have the F-4, but the disappointing thing is is that FMS is only selling the new F-4 in China!
@@arnstvanbuell2811 Yes notice the pilot is the same in the FMS Super Scorpion , Eflite 90MM viper and FMS Viper 90.
@@aerospacematt9147 maybe horizon discontinue for smart upgrade? Smart upgrade very particular for horizon product so maybe they continue making future? If you look At Taobao you can see for example blue maule called “Mohr” as well. Horizon SU30 is not actually SU30, real SU30 has canard, it is 2 seat variant of SU27. Beauty of smart technology means constant discontinue because horizon always want to upgrade🤷♂️
@@nomadrc6036 same pilot used in very old blue yellow red yak 3-D plain years ago😂
Very Chinesy. Its this crap thats killing or has killed the Hobby.
How has it killed the hobby? By making it affordable and easy for people to get into it?
@@loutodd5364 It is quite expensive. Old school is now expensive becuase dealers don't carry stick and silk, rather a foam job with radio for $800 knowing thats the last time he will see him. All at once and put it on the card. Lots of non-flyable stuff for under $400 and mostly a dead end try for most newbees. True kit or scratch building takes time that would be hobby time. Learning where the CG on your plane for sure is , is hobby time ,showing some experiance knowing some real engineering, that too is hobby time. There is no class in your box of foam and is a misleading road. Lots of good money though, your getting paid.
@@loutodd5364 Thanks for you question.
By increasing the number of people interested in the hobby, manufactures are able to bring down the costs. Just look at transmitters, my first futaba 6ch cost me over 600$ 30 years ago. This superiority complex some people have just because they build is a joke. I’ve built many planes over the years, and still do, and also bought many foam ones. And I get enjoyment out of both. But both have a place. What doesn’t is people up on their pedestal thinking they’re better because of whatever reason they chose to give (building planes in this example). I agree building your plane does give you a sense of satisfaction and understanding that buying foam does not, however, it doesn’t make the person a better flyer, or more knowledgeable than someone who has a foam model.
@@loutodd5364 There is something very dark about the boxes of foam from China. The radios too. Futaba systems are worth every penny.
